About Miahs Kitchen

West Yorkshire is home to some of the finest Indian food found anywhere in the UK, and the city of Leeds is home to some of the best examples of the genre in the county. The city centre is, of course, filled with options, and on Merrion Street, there is Miah’s KItchen. They are surrounded by great bars, and thus they are perfectly placed to begin a night out in town, and they offer a menu packed with Indian classics from curries to tandoori dishes, as well as a huge range of house specials. We’d recommend the tikka rezala – highly spiced with chillies and green peppers, and then finished off in Sambuca – or the karai selection, which makes the most of the Indian-style wok. Try them out for yourself: just remember to book a table ahead of time, as they can get very busy.

Went to Merrion Street and was told it was shut due to gas leak. Had to then walk 20 mins to York Place where we were very pleased with the food and service. Could have done with being informed of venue change

Amazingly polite staff, gave us 5* treatment, they even had a laugh with us. They made our special meal even greater. Good prices for authentic great tasting Indian food

Really nice food but I think they were short staffed as they forgot two ordered items. Toilets are really shabby and could do with an update
