Lovely food. Friendly staff. Pleasant surroundings. Great value. My friend and I were most impressed and we would recommend it to other friends. Relaxed atmosphere.

We had very tasty risotto and the staff were very patient with us while it took us ages to decide what to eat! Everyone was very friendly and we were well looked after. Very good value for money.

We arrived at 6pm and were immediately shown to our table. We enjoyed a very nice pre theatre meal. We will definitely return. M Stevenson.

Restaurant and staff were lovely, food was not bad, but had better. Very clean establishment, basic menu with reasonable prices, perhaps verging on being overpriced for the quality.

Delicious pizza and I had calamine for first time! Service slightly slow for our fri is hence the 5/6! Nice atmosphere within the restaurant and we will be back 😁

We both had pizza. My one was a bit overcooked and hard to cut which is surprising for an Italian restaurant. The other one didn't have a lot of taste. Not very impressed.

Best pizza in Edinburgh. Amazing staff, so polite and attentive. Been twice now and can't wait to go back! Carbonara is amazing too. Great value for money!

We were going to a show so time was limited but Milano delivered, well done and good food. On an earlier visit the meal was good quality and well prepared.

Fantastic meal at Milano for my wedding anniversary. Service was excellent and food brilliant. Will definitely be back in the not too distant future. If you want value for money then look no further

Authentic Italian food. Excellent service and relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend this restaurant. Very central and excellent bus service to the door. Great outing for families and adults.

The food was lovely. Would certainly recommend. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The service was great and they were all friendly. The food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering.

It was our first visit to this lovely warm and welcoming place. Food and service were both very good plus excellent value for money. We are all agreed we will be back.

The service was a bit slow but the food was excellent once it arrived. The staff were attentive and noticed we were waiting longer than expected, so that helped as they were busy pre-theatre.

The dinning area was not intimate nor particularly welcoming. I would have preferred a table in the back room which I discovered on a trip to the restroom. The coffee was first rate. Our service was adequate, however the food rates merely an O.K. The pizza was very nice, in fact the crust reminded me of the pizza my children loved in Rome. The difference was primarily in the sauce, it was bold and surprising. Had we only ordered a pizza then I would have rated this a 5. However the pasta dishes were thoroughly pedestrian and did nothing to make a name for themselves. They were not bad, they were just...there.

Food was good although one of the dishes were not as described on the menu, distinctly missing any himt of lobster, but these were changrd without question by the very attentive staff. Although it meant that 2 of the party ate out of sequence with the others it did not spoil our enjoyment of the meal.

Excellent value on their lunch menu, good food, staff good, ambience good. Overall don't think you will find a better value than Milano. Overall Very Good

The food was delicious and the services was prompt. There was just one person who kept hovering around our table and it made us quite uncomfortable for the duration of our meal. She made us feel as if we were being or watched or if we were doing something wrong. Overall the restaurant was very good though.

Restaurant was very busy. Food was good but not great. This is what we expected from a tourist restaurant in the middle of the Edinburgh tattoo. Service may be a bit more personal during quieter times.

Fast service, delicious pasta, & fresh pizza - great for large groups (especially if you pre-order) and super reliable for their standard dishes (eg the salmon).

A fantastically good value lunch and perhaps more filling than we thought as we went for a starter too! Generous portions and friendly staff. Great!

Great lunch, just a shame the restaurant was empty. Really nice food and such great value, we picked from the express lunch menu. Would definitely recommend to friends.
