Millon - Liverpool

The place itself was lovely, clean, the staff were nice and friendly, the food was gorgeous!.

Waited 45 mins for starters. Inadequate explanation for delay. Toilets awful. Food adequate. Service abysmal.

I have been eating at millon for years and the food has never been better so delicious. The staff are great and the restaurant has just been refurbished and looks fab. Definitely recommend !

Standard Indian restaurant - not bad nor good, food is ok and prices are affordable but service was too long (50 minutes before getting any food) though waiters were helpful...

The quality of food was excellent and represented value for money. The level of service and attentiveness of staff was very good. I would recommend the restaurant for a great night out.

Food was good, waiters were not. We went as a party of five, mid-week at 6.30 pm. When we arrived there was only the one occupied table, (group of three), and when we left two hours later the situation was the same - so a quiet evening for the restaurant, I'd imagine. Yet, we had to ask several times for our drinks order and almost gave up waiting for a jug of water, which was eventually brought to our table with only one glass. The waiter who took our order did so in a glum, disinterested fashion and the waiter who brought our food appeared confused whenever we asked for something, (another beer, jug of water). If you eat here you can expect decent food, but don't expect anything more than perfunctory service. I won't be making a second visit.

We were warmly welcomed by staff who were very attentive and polite. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous ( we took a doggy bag home) We had a lovely evening in a pleasant atmosphere. A big thank you to Amy and the waiting staff who ensured my daughters birthday meal was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend The Millon to my friends and family and look forward to returning.

Great staff and the food is consistently good. We regularly get takeaway from Millon but this time ate in the restaurant and really enjoyed the experience.

I had a lovely meal here with the husband last night. We had poppadoms and dips to start (watch out for the lime pickle, I almost choked on it. Very intense flavour!) Then mixed Tandoori grill, (chicken, lamb and sheesh kebab) which had onion bhaji and naan included and lamb bhuna. Lovely tender meat. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back again soon.

Greeted by friendly staff and complimentary poppadoms! Slightly longer than average wait for main course, but there was a large party at the next table. May have been an idea for the staff to check if we wanted any other starters or more poppadoms whilst we were eating the initial ones? The Millon special ( doused in brandy and set alight at the table!) was tasty, the mild butter chicken was a bit spicier than in many Indian restaurants. Good sized portions. We would return to this restaurant as it was good quality food and the staff were pleasant.

Friendly service and tasty curry. Quiet for a Saturday night but got busier around 9 onwards. Some curries can be cooked to taste which is a nice touch

I've been enjoying curries at Millon restaurant for many years. It's a family affair with really tasty cuisine, an extensive menu and plenty of fresh vegetables. I'm vegetarian a nd there's an excellent choice. The service is always friendly and efficient and they're ready to give advice and are flexible. It's a quiet, relaxing place to be as well as excellent value.

Food very good. Staff and service very good. My so always chooses to take his family to Millon when they visit England. Absolutely certain he will book again next time he comes to England

Both the food and service were excellent with an impressive menu. This is the bes Indian restaurant we have eaten at. We will definitely be returning.

We booked a table here last minute on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy but the service was great, staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is gorgeous and not expensive. We will definitely visit again soon.

Excellent food delicious staff great.lovely ambience the lamb is so tender it almost melts in the mouth.I like to have a side dish and I can thoroughly recommend the Bindi bahji.

Great food, friendly service. We took family and kids for an early evening meal. The menu is fairly traditional Indian food, with a large choice. Excellent Lamb balti and the side dish of daal was particularly tasty. Kids enjoyed tucking in too. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I would recommend this restauraunt . Staff are very pleasant and available without being intrusive but more importantly the food is exceptional. The location is also in its favour.

First visit to Millon and wont be the last. Lovely food. Staff were very friendly and attentive. It was a quiet night but it was January.

As others have stated, the décor is dated but don't let that dissuade you in any way - great service and great food at reasonable price. One thing to note; they are not messing around with their chili ratings, some of the dishes are very hot.

8 people met up for a meal, we all enjoyed the food, the staff were very helpful and friendly. All of us will eat here again

Food and service were excellent. Decor is looking a little bit tired, but we liked the little booths. Overall we really enjoyed it and also had some great leftovers for lunch today!

As usual lovely friendly staff, comfortable surroundings.food same high standards. We had a lovely meal of tilapia fillets green chicken and Bengal lamb with okra as a side dish.
