The British are as enthusiastic a nation as you could hope for in terms of their love of Indian restaurants, and with almost 10,000 curry houses that keep their ardour up, they know they have some of the best selections of subcontinental serveries around. Those in the North West of England have the benefit of decades of migration from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh to their region, and thus the local standard of curry house is high, and for those residents in the town of St Helens, Millon Tandoori on Duke Street in the town centre is the go-to destination. Book yourself a table now and sample their tandoori delicacies, their huge range of curries and their house specials: our favourite is the naga special, cooked with the fiery naga chillies endemic to Bangladesh.
We found this place late into last year and come for a treat about once a month, the food is delicious, great atmosphere and the staff are lovely. We didn't come for our monthly visit in January as we were trying to be good and the waiter recognised us and welcomed us back and we had a nice little chat. Absolutely love this place and feel at home whenever I go, it's got a lovely balance of being a real treat meal out without the ridiculous prices and being too posh. It's perfect and I can't wait for the next visit!
there were 5 of us and we all had a lovely time the food was fantastic the staff were very friendly and helpful we will definitely be going again x
Very high standard of food and great service as usual. We use the restaurant quite a few times and would recommend it to everyone. Do wish they would stock some cider though on draught.
