Booked a table for 7.30 last night but it took 10 mins to put 2 tables together for us as they were unaware of our booking. Half our cutlery was missing and we had no napkins. Had 4 moist towels thrown on cold warming plates....(obviously one of us had to do without a towel and they had run out of matches as the warming plates were never lit) This is the first bad review I have submitted on Quandoo. This restaurant is 5 minutes walk from my house but next time I want a curry I will walk past this one to the one 10 minutes away.

The food was excellent and the service was good - only slight downside was the delay between the starter and the main course but when it came it was excellent.

The service was very slow, the food was nice. Stairs and toilet floor area were sticky. No toilet paper available for the ladies.

We were a group of 13 visiting to celebrate my sons birthday. We had a brilliant evening & considering the size of our party the quality of food & service was amazing. Thank you Mumbai of Otley we will be back.

Didn’t get to visit due to the place not been able to sort a table out for 6 of us. I made the mistake booking for 5 instead of 6 the restaurant wouldn’t even help sort a table out even though there was 2 empty tables they could have put together. He even showed me there booked list and didn’t have many people coming in on the list. Well it’s that restaurant loss of over £120 in money that we would of spent there.

When we first went to this restaurant, soon after it opened, the staff were courteous and friendly, efficient and cheerful. However on this occasion we found the opposite. Long waits between courses, forgotten items, and apparently we were not alone in this, as we heard other diners complaining, asking for napkins, and I saw a lady get up from her table and having to take side plates, obviously due to the table not having been set properly! The staff seemed confused, as they also had delivery drivers waiting for orders. The toilets were up a rickety, grubby staircase, and quite shabby for an otherwise nicely decorated restaurant. Suffice to say, we won't be returning!

I’ve ordered spinach & goat cheese £8.95, overpriced & less portion for vegetarian dish. Strange they don’t have cranberry juice. We ordered lassi, gave us condensed milk mix with water & few ice cube £3.5 per glass. My husband ordered nice description chicken menu but gave us basic chicken korma different from menu he ordered. It has good reviews but can’t fool us. It’s a con place, will not recommend. Try, Akbar or Aagrah, they’re the best place for curry.
