Muse - Yarm

Great food, shame about the table! Didn't expect to be dinining in an overspill area right next to the bar looking in at the restaurant and surrounded by successive groups of people waiting for their tables in the restaurant. Even had some people standing over us looking at the artwork for sale on the wall at one point!

We eat at Muse quite regularly and we have never had a bad meal, the staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and convivial, always an enjoyable evening!

Love this restaurant, however, initial welcome was underwhelming, starter was very dry and we were charged twice on our bill. Quickly resolved but no apologies. Not the normal experience.

Fantastic food and friendly efficient service. It was just a little bit slow - 2hrs for a 3 course Sunday lunch. We didn't have anything else to do so it was ok but would have preferred it a bit quicker.

A truly exceptional evening with great staff, food and atmosphere!. You will not be disappointed I'm sure.

Lovely atmosphere, good quality breakfast for a decent price. Coffee was lovey too. Service was quick and friendly.

Food took a long time to come; we were told our order followed a number of other orders. One of our party didn't care for the chicken balls in the soup, and thought she'd previously had noodles in this soup, She liked the hake but not the accompanying items. Otherwise the food was terrific.

I have always had only excellent meals at Muse Yarm. This was the first time we did Sunday lunch and unfortunately this fell short of our expectations by a long shot, and is not comparable to alternative similarly priced options. I will go again to Muse but never again for Sunday lunch.
