As a raw food oasis in the heart of Notting Hill serving up powerfully nutritious fare for busy London residents, NAMA maintains a furious schedule. Their 100% raw breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner options are available seven days a week, meaning you never have to go without your raw food boost. But just what is raw? At NAMA London, the often contested definition is food that hasn’t been exposed to temperatures above 42 degrees centigrade, preserving all the vitamins, minerals and enzymes present in the ingredients natural state.
Drawing upon supplies from the nearby Notting Hill and Queen’s Park farmers’ markets, the larder at NAMA’s Talbot Road restaurant is stocked with goods that are totally meat, wheat, dairy and gluten-free. Showcasing the diversity that a raw food diet can indulge in, NAMA London’s dinner menu is an international smorgasbord of delicious options. Bring a group of friends and take on the pinchos or cheeseboard sharing plates with a cold-pressed juice, nutritious smoothie, or certified biodynamic and organic wines. Main courses draw on culinary traditions from Italy, Southeast Asia, Mexico and Central America, and Japan – the sushi is made from marinated kohlrabi rice with pickled enoki and served with a signature ponzu sauce, wasabi and avo mayo – good enough to rival the best in London. A unique proposition in the capital, reservations are strongly recommended if you plan to experience dining at NAMA London.
