Our Waiter Connor was really lovely and very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely. Downside was while filming towie (which we were told about) the producers shouting the background noise (us) were too noisy and huffing

Thought we would try out the restaurant, great looking menu, really interesting dishes on, not your standard 'curry house'. Unfortunately there was a group of those puerile Towie wannabe 5 minute celebrities in the restaurant, who have no concern for others, the noise was intrusive, so I had to have a word. Food was good, my Goan Monkfish ruined by the many bones left in the meat. The other 2 dishes were good, I asked the question 'would you go again?' my 2 guests said unequivocally yes, I would probably say yes. Restaurant staff very good, attentive and knowledgeable, this is not a cheap eatery.

The team were really great ! Made a fuss of the 9 month old we had with us so that we felt really welcome. Food was different and a little bit special because of it.

The ambience within the restaurant was perfect. The food was fantastic enjoyed every bite. The only thing for me was the service was very quick too quick at the beginning got my poppadoms before my drink menu. The service then seemed to die down a little bit. My rice was forgotten with my main but very quickly brought to the table when mentioned about it. Would definitely go here again.

This time it was not great, although the front staff were very good, they were let down by the Kitchen. We ordered a vegan meal and recieved a non vegan items on the plate.

Food and services was excellent, what lets this restaurant down, is the drink, they rip you off, it’s a joke. They do not serve beer on tap, don’t even sell the big bottles of beer, they are charging you nearly £6 for a 330ml bottle, what a rip off. All Indian restaurants, sell big bottles for that, or a pint on tap. Would I go back not until the owner stops ripping customers off with his drink price. Would I recommend it, no better Indian restaurants in the area.

Whilst the food was amazing, the service seriously lets this restaurant down. It took 30 minutes to even get a drink and then almost 2 hours after being seated before our food arrived. Adam our waiter was phenomenal and did his utmost to keep us happy, but another waiter told us that the restaurant had had to deal with 110 orders predominately from Deliveroo. Prioritising the customers already in the restaurant should surely take priority? As I said, the food was amazing when it eventually arrived but the experience was somewhat tarnished by feeling like we were less of a priority than customers ordering from home. Sadly this isn’t a one off as my husband had a similar experience at Christmas but I was hoping things may have improved……

Lovely restaurant with great food and was nice having a singer

The food was good, particularly the lamb. However, the service was extremely disappointing. We felt totally ignored, and when a table of eight arrived, the staff focused entirely on them. The experience felt unprofessional and left a bad impression.

Party of 4, early evening, so not crowded. Invited to choose where we would like to sit. Service very promt and attentive. Light bites on the table within 10 minutes and main meals served within 30 minutes. Lovely, all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed it. The furnishings absorb the sound well so it was easy to enjoy a quiet conversation. It is worth mentioning that previous comments about a cold draught when the entrance doors open has been addressed with a heavy curtain barrier, very effective. We will definitely be making a return visit.

Our it’s visit here food was lovely I had chicken korma but my husband said he’s lamb was chewy we wasn’t offered drinks straight away had to ask then bought poppadoms to our table didn’t ask if we wanted them got my drink order wrong the menu was a little disappointing not a lot of choice as I thought there would be waiters were friendly

Great food service ok but forgot our coffee but otherwise good

This was our first visit to this restaurant, as we were a table of 8 we were sat downstairs unfortunately it was very cold downstairs, we raised it with a member of staff but nothing was done, some of our party ended up wearing their coats but were still cold, I went upstairs to talk to the manager who apologised and move our table further into the room. We had to wait for our food for sometime and then it was on the cold side ~ not a good experience which for a new restaurant is a shame

Quality of food was good but we waited almost 1 and a half hours for our food to arrive. All our drinks arrived at different times and we had to ask twice for 2 of them. Have previously had great food and service there so we were very disappointed with our latest experience. We won’t be returning

The best lamb chops I have ever had and I eat a lot of them. All of the staff our friendly and efficient which is a bonus as the food is amazing the best Indian I have ever eaten in.

We sat down at 7:30pm. Took long to order a drink and to order our meal. Very slow service. we only left the restaurant at 22:50. We would've def ordered more drinks, but there was no one to be seen. Food was lovely when it finally turned up but the starters were cold.

On the back of our family having a great meal here we took friends for NYE. Food and atmosphere were fantastic and the staff were very attentive too. Go there🤷🏼‍♂️

Food was superb , my only gripe is there are lots of staff but trying to get a drink delivered to the table after ordering was way too long . But I guess they will improve this over time .

pros: Restaurant itself was beautiful. Food was amazing. Staff lovely. cons: Nobody should be seated at 7.30 and have their main course arrive at 9.30! Two hours is far too long and it was quite empty so not too sure what the reason for the long wait was Too pricey for a local Indian

Food was great but service wasn't fantastic, had to ask to order food or get more drinks a few times. Table was by serving area so slightly noisy.

Lunchtime bowl. Well presented, love the vegetables, and salad addition to your standard main and rice. Poppadoms and beer a bit pricey, but all in all lovely environment, great food, perfect service standards. Will come again. A bit sad to see so few customers at lunch in a big restaurant. It really is worth going to.
