Macclesfield is a small town but, on Pickford Street, there’s a place to combine fine Italian-style tapas and cool, cool prosecco. That place, of course, is No 5 Prosecco, with its simple yet stylish decor – think vinyl record-lined walls – and a very friendly welcome indeed. Naturally, being a restaurant and bar, No 5 Prosecco is an ideal spot for dinner or drinks and the food, as we said, is Italian-style tapas. This means you can expect lots of small plates, all of which are laced with quality and built for sharing. The centre of Macclesfield knows it’s lucky to have No 5 Prosecco, hence the tables are often full. Best to make a reservation in advance.

We had a very enjoyable evening at Prosecco No. 5. The food was very good and the level of attention and service from the staff was excellent. This was our first visit and we will definitely be dining here again.
Fantastic food and brilliant athmosphere. Can’t wait to come back again. Well recommended to family and friends. Love the choice of 80’s music and to the present day
