shisha was nice from there, defo recommend the black cod one. Insides looks lovely and they even have a garden looking place out side to sit and relax.

Service was appalling. Had to pre order food. Half the food ordered never arrived. Wrong food arrived and we were advised to just keep it. At the end of the night all the food ordered (even the things that didn’t arrive) Plus the things we didn’t order were all on the bill. They also forgot to take the prepaid deposit off. This was rectified after a good 45 minutes of messing around. Complete shambles.

Excellent scenery, amazing food and spot-on customer service. All in all, extremely enjoyed ourselve. I definitely intend to go back & would recommend anyone who loves Japanese food to give it a go. 🙏🏽👍🏾👅

The food is great. Equally as good as any comparable restaurant in London. But only about 10% of tables occupied on a Saturday night so lacking in ambience - a shame.

Been a few times, the food and service is normally really good but there was no DJ, food was not as tasty plus our waitress was rude and we feel rushed. We wasn't happy!

Terrible experience. Would not recommend to anyone. Place is terrible so is the atmosphere feels like an old empty night club. Avoid there are better places on Birmingham

We went as a group of 6... ordered drinks and that took a while, waitress was helpful explaining portion sizes. Food was ok not brilliant. Heard good reviews, decor and atmosphere was nice but was disappointed with the food to be honest.

Excellent food, service was great. The restaurant was not busy when we went which was great as we were celebrating a birthday and got all the attention we needed. Chic decor. Chic food. A definite feel good restaurant.

Really lovely service from everyone. The food was also great. The black cod tempura maki and wagyu nikuman will live long in the memory. We only knocked a point off because it was too dark and the food deserved better.

I was extremely disappointed. I felt that the portion of food being offered was meagre and had been deliberately cut down as it was was a response to a pre-paid offer. For example there were three prawns - in other words one and a half each, three squid balls again one and a half each. No wagyu as stated in the menu. The suishi was ok two portions each. The sweets were not as in the menu - only one small cheesecake and one small panna cotta (instead of a chocolate truffle) and one scoop of sorbet between two people. The prawns could have been purchased in a supermarket and the squid balls seemed to be mainly rice. All in all very disappointing and poor value for money.

Food is actually very good. Service is poor. The wait staff need to be trained to offer more drinks when your glass is empty. When the bottle of wine is in an ice bucket the customer shouldn't have to get up from the table to serve themselves. Also I love loud music but don't turn a half empty restaurant into a club atmosphere so people dining can no longer hear the conversation around the table. Very disappointed and unlikely to return which is a huge shame as the food was highly enjoyable

Wonderful decor and lovely food. Very well prepared and served. Highly recommended. Obviously a lot of money has been spent to make this place look perfect. Well worth the effort.

Food was average, service was terrible waited for 30 mins for our starters to come through and also drinks that we ordered as soon as we sat down. Overly priced better food at places like Wagamamas, Yakinoori. Only a one time place for me won't be visiting again

Pleasant, attentive staff and well appointed, upscale environment greet you at Nozomi along with a very expansive (and expensive!) menu. The sushi was fresh and well crafted in the traditional style but the other dishes we tried were very average to insipid for the prices being charged. We would go back for the sushi but didn't feel much else was particularly good value. Nozomi would benefit from paring down it's ungainly menu and producing a smaller number of higher quality dishes and specials.

A beautiful intimate restaurant. Food was amazing- so flavoursome. The service was en point. The waitress serving us was relatively new but was confident in the information she provided. We shall be revisiting very soon.

Food & service was excellent! We went here for our first wedding anniversary & would highly recommend it to any one else. The courtyard was a great space to sit outdoors too.
