I enjoyed the fruit scone and coffee. The scone was a good size and fresh. Not a big range of baked goods to choose from but given I was only there for the scone it worked for me

Very small and limited choice of food Lovely staff and nice furniture but just not a place I felt I was wanting to frequent but it was okay

We had the afternoon tea as a birthday treat for my Mum, at first I was a little taken aback by the cafes position in a corner of the bed department surrounded by stock, but once I got over the initial ‘this is it’ I was pleasantly surprised but the quality of the food and service, they couldn’t do enough for us and the afternoon tea was quite a spread 3 sandwiches each a selection of cakes and of course scones cream, butter and jam. It topped of our day in Newcastle in style I would definitely go again, and will be recommending the oak cafe to local relatives.

Lovely staff, excellent food, good choice. Could not ask for anything else.S The ham soup was home made and full of everything, the prawn salad was delicious and the tiffin bar to die for!

Lovely setting, great food and a good price. Staff where very polite and friendly, having everything ready for the time of my reservation. Will definitely be coming back in the future.
