Food was 8/10 Service 8/10 Value for money 6/10 Atmosphere 6/10 would have been higher if the music wasn’t so loud Although I appreciate you clearly state you can not commitment to special occasions would have been nice for the team to have even written happy birthday on my husbands dessert.

Sat through the back which was quieter than the main restaurant. The menu is enormous, but there were 4 of us and all the food we had was good,

Absolutely lovely restaurant. Beautiful food, wonderful service and lovely atmosphere. We ordered from the festive menu. My friend had the traditional Christmas Dinner and I had the Vegetarian Christmas Dinner. Both absolutely stunning!! We will be both definitely booking again soon ✨

I wish I could have rated on just the food. It would have been a 5, however (and I see this everywhere) a bottle of wine and 2 extra medium glasses take up half of the bill. My friend came from Darlington on the train so we could have a couple of glasses of wine. Last year or 2 it was prob £60. Now it is £96. How do you guys stay open (and others) A very tasty meal as ever.

First time ever reported a bad meal at this restaurant . one of my company who I was with had a bad meal , she ordered the Parmesan with peppers topping , it was completely dried out as been over cooked yet the toppings on the Parmesan looked wilted and not fresh . The server did come over to ask if everything was ok and we did say yes however she hadn’t started eating her food yet as was feeding her baby . My food on the other hand was really nice.. the server refunded my colleagues main course of the bill which was kind .
