We were welcomed by the manager and taken to our reserved table straight away and offered a choice of tables. The menus and wine list were presented quickly and there was a large display offering specials. Water was offered and the bottle of wine we ordered -Soave Classico was served without delay. Great wine service: the bottle was presented, quickly uncorked and we were invited to taste. Once served, the bottle was placed into an ice bucket and stand. We chose a mix of dishes from the specials as well as from the menus. The starters- 1 x octopus special and 1 x mussels, were both very tasty and good sized servings. A finger bowl or hot towel would have been appreciated with the mussels. Our main courses - 1 x cod casserole, 1 x special beef ravioli also tasted good. Desserts were a generous serving of gelato and one warm almond and chocolate tart. We spent about 1 hour and 45 minutes at Osteria del Arte enjoying a great meal. We were offered complimentary digestifs but couldn't manage anything else. The decor could be improved if all the poor plants above our heads and been watered and cared for - they looked neglected. Will definitely visit again. Great food and excellent service. Grazie mille!

First time here and for sure it won’t be the last! Great food, real Italian, pizza with stracchino and speck is unbelievably delicious! Staff is friendly and polite. The only little downside is that we went in the hottest day ever and inside was way too hot. But a part from that...SPOT ON!!👏🏻 Will be back soon!

Nice little restaurant - we went prior to The London Moonwalk, so despite them being crazy busy, they still managed to cater for us in a polite and timely manner

One of the most authentic Italian restaurants outside Italy! Pasta, pizza, gnocchi, risotto - always perfect and worth coming back to again and again. Good selection of wines too and nothing overpriced.

One of the best tagliata I have ever had. The bottle of Aglianico was excellent. Have the panna cotta plain, to taste the full richness. A great evening.

Food and ambiance is usually excellent. Was a little underwhelmed this time as the sharing meat platter was low on bread and could have used some garish (olives, tomatoes, pickles) and the seafood special could have had a bit more flavour - it was just a load of prawns and squid on a little bed of rocket (not quite the "green salad" on the menu). The dessert was very nice. One of my favourite restaurants in South London and have had many great meals here, but underwhelming on this occasion.

Delicious food, brilliant place and friendly staff. Justifies the Italian way of cooking and even approved by my Italian flatmates. Love that they have decked up the interiors with a lot of plants. Bravo!

We always enjoy going to Osteria dell'arte. Great atmosphere, nice menu and friendly staff. The steak this time was not the best. Beautifully cooked and accompanied but the meat itself had little flavour. Everything else was perfect though, as always!

Tonight the Osteria team were on top form, excellent service and excellent food. We both chose from the specials menu and enjoyed crab tortellini and beautifully pink lamb cutlets, accompanied by a good bottle of Pinot Nero. Altogether a very enjoyable dell’Arte experience!

This is without doubt my favourite restaurant in Clapham. The staff are always really friendly and there is a great atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble. They have an extensive menu with a particularly good value lunch menu. The wine list is great too. Highly recommended!

Lovely meal and great service but very noisy due to the traffic on Clapham High Street (engines clearly struggling in the heat, especially the buses - clearly not the restaurant's fault and it was cooler with the windows open onto the street; it was still very hot inside though - could almost have been in Italy

Very average food and poor service- 1 hour wait for main course after starter. Not overly busy to justify wait. Shame as used to be good.

The food was very good but in small portions. My friend have found a piece of cellophane in the pizza......and they neither offered to replace with a new one or discount the bill.

We had a lovely evening at Osteria. The food was delicious, the menu options are varied and not your usual run of the mill choices. We'd highly recommend the duck and pear! The staff were also warm, friendly and helpful.

Really warm welcome in Italian of course! Menu was explained politely. I was in a bit of a rush but our lovely waitress sped things up and adapted set menu. Food was absolutely delicious and couldn't fault it. Only wish we had more time to absorb the wonderful environment and sample more. We will definitely be going back and very soon. I'm very picky about service and food so extremely happy to find this piece of Italian heaven *****

The meal was extremely salty in both cases. Mine the cod casserole and partner's the fried fish. Young waiter was rather arrogant. We've been twice and enjoyed it but don't think we'll be back.
