Conveniently located on North Shore’s Talbot Road, close to both Blackpool North overground and North Pier tram stations, Othello’s Greek Restaurant is proud to be one of the city’s most talked-about Mediterranean restaurants. Featuring numerous healthy and vegetarian menu items, this charming Greek dining establishment offers something for even the pickiest of diners. Begin your meal at Othello’s Greek Restaurant in North Shore by choosing from several varieties of skordopsoma, a tasty garlic bread with various toppings like feta, mozzarella, chilli and lounza(smoked pork) before moving on to starters like garlic king prawns, halloumi cheese or calamari. Dive headfirst into mains such as tavas beef, chicken stroganoff or grilled salmon. Got a serious appetite? Then we recommend ordering the lamb kleftiko – marinated five-hour roasted lamb served with roast potatoes and carrots – or try everyone’s favourite meaty casserole, moussaka. Reservations are a must for this Blackpool hotspot!
Service was fast and efficient, food was very good and didn't wait long even though we didn't have a starter. would certainly recommend and will definitely be back in the future.
Excellent service and very tasty food. Very attentive staff warm welcome when we arrived. Would definitely find here again. House wine nice. Reasonably priced menu
Very efficient and friendly staff out front, and wonderful food cooked by brilliant chefs. Kristos, the owner/chef, who we've known for 20+ years adds a nice touch by coming out front to meet and chat to his customers. We would have no problem recommending this restaurant to people.
Excellent food our first time eating Greek and we were not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere excellent service highly recommended. Would most definitely visit again when back in blackpool.
othellos is a lovely wee place, olympia and the staff are so helpful, cannot do enough for you.The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. My hubby loves his mythos beer and Olympia gave him a mythos glass to bring home as a reminder of our visit. We have been twice now and will visit again when we are next coming to blackpool from Scotland.
Didn't realise it was the same people who had the Med above Ann Summers, great food, fantastic service I would recommend the food and experience to all. Make sure you go you will have a great time and the food is well worth it. Try the Mezza it was fab. Rod
We really enjoyed our meal at Othello's, got a great deal on the Meze and this was a great choice - excellent selection of starters and mains, it was great to try a bit of everything and it was very tasty. Also got to try some nice Greek beers. Staff were very friendly and efficient, highly recommended!
lovely food and excellent service, we really enjoyed the set menu, the moussaka was especially good. Had a good bottle of merlot to - house wine. Would recommend. It was quiet on the evening we were there only us and another group of 4 in
Excellent menu, marvellous food, nice restaurant, friendly and efficient service. We came here last year in October, and have made a special trip up north to come back and sample this cuisine! We will be returning again I hope :-) would highly recommend this establishment
The food was of good quality, with evidence that much of it was made on the premises Staff were friendly We had the Meze at £22 per head I had to say that I thought that although this isnt a huge price, the fact that four of us had the Meze meant that some of the dishes, particularly the Kleftiko were very small in portion size
