quality of steak exceptional.We visited on Tuesday and had Butchers Cut at £1 per ounce,8 oz cheaper than a fish and chips--brilliant value

Tried the mushrooms for the first time £5 for 4 halves of mushroom with no flavour, seemed a bit expensive,Waiter didn’t care. Steak was fantastic as always though.

First time back since lockdown had allowed us back inside. Fantastic steak, shame the mash has disappeared from the menu. Hardest part is picking what jus to go for…. Or just have both.

Good to be back. Even saved room for pudding. See you tomorrow.

Everything was amazing and just as amazing as last time (which we thought would have been impossible!) The most seculate steak you could ever eat and also on a Tuesday and Wednesday its only a pound per ounce!!! cant wait for next time!

We were a bit disappointed with the starters very limited choice. We were greeted with we have ran out of fillet (Saturday night). First night after lockdown very very disappointing when been waiting for a very long time for the 14oz fillet. pudding was nice. Food we had was nice but not what we wanted. Shame as we have always loved coming here.

Food was lovely... but sadly it was cold sitting outside.

Although a little cold the food and service was great as always.

Tried on a recommendation and couldn’t fault the food. Obviously had to sit outside due to COVID. Staff were lovely and food plentiful. The only 2 things that would have made it better would be that if the plates had been warmed, then the meal would have stayed hot long enough to eat it, and we were seated underneath an overgrown vine that my daughter kept banging her head on and catching her hair. It either needs tying back or pruning. Luckily the people next to us left and we were able to shuffle the table across a bit We will definitely return but will wait for indoor dining to be back.

Lovely atmosphere and outside dining. Service slow, had to ask for cutlery and salt and pepper. Very disappointing meat as beef very fatty. Came to pay the bill, had asked for extra gravy and found had been charged £3.50 for it!
