Tried the lunchtime menu for the first time and wasn't disappointed, 2 burgers excellently cooked

Disappointing considering the hype this place gets. Ordered a 12oz fillet. Whilst the steak was cooked to perfection on the inside, it was chargrilled so much that all I could taste was the burnt pan lines on the steak. The Parmesan fries were basically just fries with some Parmesan sprinkled on top (I thought they might be infused better considering the £3 jump in price for them. And the salad was like a bag of mixed salad from the supermarket with again a bit of Parmesan sprinkled on top. Overall disappointed and likely won’t return. It’s a shame

Very good although there menu has gone up in price compared to the menu you have on your quandoo site.

We booked 2 months in advance as we have been several times before and know it gets busy here. We requested a nice table. We arrived and were offered a table for two by the front door! We asked for a better table and were offered the one next to it on the opposite side (still by the front door which every time someone came in or out it was freezing) We both had the Dexter sirloin mine was lovely but husbands was so fatty he couldn’t eat it. Overall a terrible evening! We got the impression the staff really weren’t bothered as long as the bill was paid We left feeling extremely disappointed and sad with a place we used to love to visit and had recommended numerous occasions. Needless to say we will not recommend or visit anymore.

The pound an ounce offer is great value but as such, it is super busy. The service is a rushed and if you are seated in the bat area, it is all quite hectic with people coming and going. Great steaks though!

The food was amazing and incredible value. Unfortunately the place was almost too busy, so despite having a booking we weren’t greeted at the door, then told to wait but ‘not in the way’ and then it was slow to get service. Meal ended well though!

Fantastic meal and service different go back and try the stake

I have been eager to try here for a while and we booked over two weeks before dining. The food was very good… however: -It took us about 15 minutes or more to get the bottle of wine we ordered -When it came it was the wrong bottle -We were shoved upstairs on the second floor on the side as a table of two and getting up from the table was SO difficult. -Our starter came which we shared with no cutlery or plates. The restaurant has a lot of potential however for the price of the food, the slow service and lack of personal space was very disappointing. For a £130 bill between us, to be like sardines in a tin was not great.

Food quality and presentation was excellent. There were some service issues initially, although it was a very busy pre Christmas Saturday evening - and all was resolved effectively by the Ops Manager. This was our first visit, and we enjoyed our evening.

Food was excellent . Only downside was the difficulty in parking but will visit again .

Great food and service as always, the meat was so juicy.

The only disappointment was two at the table ordered the chocolate lava cake what arrived was a piece of sponge cake resting on a little dribble of chocolate sauce defiantly not lava cake

Have now tried all of the side dishes. The cauliflower cheese and garlic mushrooms are definitely my favourite choice however all the others are great too. Garlic bread would be a nice addition. Again the steak was incredible and the staff are awesome! Seriously, if you haven't tried this restaurant you are missing out. Hugely recommend. Thanks all 😊

Lovely Sunday lunch as always.We had the roast beef which was delicious and the gravy was amazing, wish I knew the recipe!

Very expensive for the quality served. The team were very rigid on swaps - no chips alternatives. But the food was decent.

The food was great and we enjoyed our visit! Staff were friendly and accommodating. We were however sat by the bar and felt a little squished in.

Lovely food and service as always. Unfortunately we were upstairs at the front on a table for 2, next to a table of 6 men who were very loud. Perhaps consider having the group tables in one area.

Just poor customer service.... please have a word with your waiting staff as the lady that served us clearly did not want to be there...

Service great everything perfect just my steak was a little rarer than I would have like but no problem
