Lovely food however overpriced and service could be better. Was busy and had to wait a long time for drinks and food

We had to wait for our table which was fine but the service could have been better ie. Laying the table, taking the order more quickly. The staff themselves were very good but just very busy. Food was excellent.

Fantastic! A bit on the expensive side , but very impressive

The food was good, missed a side order but when it came was told it was complimentary. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we had a complimentary bottle of wine.

First time having steak here, can not wait to go back…

Service was shocking. Asked for mayo and it didn't arrive, sat with empty drinks from halfway through our meal, waited 25 minutes for plates to be collected so at that point I just paid at the bar. Wanted a pudding but after we sat there for 25 minutes with empty plates and no drinks we just wanted to leave. Such a shame as we stopped going to ounce 2 years ago due to poor service and it seems that nothing has changed.

Service great, food great, decor great, value for money outstanding and I appreciate it is very busy due to these factors . However the restaurant feels a little cramped, tables are so close you hear 3 or 4 other conversations on different tables whilst you are eating. I was with my family and it made me feel uncomfortable so we just ate our main and left, if it was more open, more relaxed we may have had starter, dessert & more drinks. Overall it felt as if we were on a bit of conveyer belt.

brilliant as always. arrived at 5pm (15min earlier then booked). got rable stright away. the girl that served us was very nice and polite. got drinks within few min, starter took about 15 min to arrive and stakes (mains) were served less then half an hour from ordering. food was great as always. total bill was just over £105 for 4 of us for 4 drinks, 4 mains, 1 side and 1 sauce,2 starters and 1 desert.

Tuesday night Butchers Cut booking and the meat was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend at least one visit for a meat lover but it won't end at just the one visit.

Nottingham relations came for the second time they can’t wait to come again. I have too many times to remember. Never had a bad £/ounce steak yet.
