Food was great , me and my lads meet up at ounce to enjoy the great food and atmosphere, normally we are able to have great conversation but this time sat right by us were 3 very drunk loud women who completely ruined our evening. Nothing was said to them they weren’t asked to quieten down at all . We couldn’t wait to finish food and leave , it was the same with other diners who even went to the bar to pay bill to get away from these women Overall this did ruin our evening sorry to say

The food was good ,we thought that the service was a bit slow , but It was later explained to us that a new till system had been implemented today and there were a few technical issues , once this was explained to us we were more than happy to be more patient, I love Ounce , everyone should try it .

Lovely staff. Efficient but welcoming Happy to help with a gift voucher purchase as well, even though they were busy. Great food as always, and amazing value on £1 per ounce night!

The service was very good. The meat was tender & tasty although it would have nice to be told that mustard was automatically on the steak. Would highly recommend.

Lunchtime food is very good and at a very reasonable price.

Thursday Chateaubriand is always very good. For the price you pay the value is 11/10.

Fantastic food and great value (£1 an Ounce night) but a couple of us found it a bit noisy and cramped - lovely building though and personally this didn't affect my enjoyment

Kate and her team gave us a very warm welcome as always, the Dirty Burger, especially with the 4 cheese Cauliflower cheese was fabulous. The Open Beef sandwich looked great too. And the Sunday Lunch is not to be missed. Good Food & Service at a fair price. Thank you.

Amazing, the best of produce enhanced by the chef! Great al dente veg side dishes, lovely wine and service.

Very hot upstairs - not comfortable. 5 steaks ordered, 2 were not cooked as ordered (1 ordered rare was medium rare and 1 ordered medium was also medium rare). We waited over 40 minutes for our food. Not what we expected from Ounce. . .

Food was great as always.Booked for 2pm and although it was busy to start with it did go quieter.Staff were great and service was pretty quick.Had butchers cut 8oz and a 10oz both done to perfection.well done to all !!

Such a great resturant. The food and service were both second to none! We will 100% be back! There was an issue outside of the resturant (to which we were oblivious to!) But the manager came upstairs to apologise for anything we saw or heard. It was such a nice touch.

Wanted a quick lunch and once again Ounce did not disappoint, we went for the butchers board and it was spot on , the veg was cooked to perfection and the meat was sublime, just fabulous.

Almost perfect! When ordering a £36 steak however, I don’t expect to be told they can only cook it to medium. If I’m paying, it’s cooked how I want it to be!

Outstanding steaks and meal - thanks go to Kate (manager) who found us a quiet table as we initially sat next to a very loud person which threatened to spoil our evening. Staff were amazing and the chateaubriant was one of the best steaks we have had. Thanks again to all the staff there who made our evening.
