Waiting times for a table was short, in fact we needed to request more time to peruse the menu. We were shown to a table shortly after placing our order and service was prompt. It was a busy night due to it being a bank holiday and we were celebrating my partners birthday. Overall it was the usual excellent quality of food and service with friendly and professional staff.

It was our grandson's first birthday all the staff were brilliant with him even singing happy birthday to him. The meal was lovely and we were all made to feel very welcome. Thank you to all the staff we had a great time. Xx

Very nice food, pleasant and attentive staff. Just one small complaint, I specifically asked for a small glass of wine but was charged for a large one, only noticed when I got home.

I dined with friends - 8 in total, the service was prompt, staff very helpful, and the food hot and delicious!

Food was excellent but we were ignored for the whole time we were there and had to constantly re-ask for menus etc.... Our waiter only asked us once (at the beginning of the meal) if we wanted to order drinks.

Staff were very helpful. The pizza that was ordered by myself,was adequate. It was very short of cheese. And obviously had been served on a cold plate, consequently the pizza was cold. It also wasnt helped by the fact that the staffs head, kept appearing around the corner of the pillow, to keep checking if we had finished. Felt very rushed, and I like time to chat, and eat and relax. Sorry but didnt feel that at papa louiges sunday evening.

Great venue and good atmosphere, service and food is excellent

Food was fantastic, and good value. Both kids enjoyed all their food. Although we were seated and starters came quickly, extra drinks took a while to arrive and it was slow to get starters and the main meals cleared away.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere as usual. Wine is not overpriced and the house wine is very acceptable. This is my favorite venue for Italian food.

Once again we received excellent service and food from this restaurant. It was a busy evening with staff being exceptionally busy but despite this the head waiter took time to welcome us and speak with us at various times during our visit. It was quite noise as there was a rather large party in for a celebration meal but we were seated in a separate area from this group and the noise from them did not bother us. Because the restaurant was busy there was the usual noise from other diners but this was acceptable and expected. The food was very good and met our expectations, I have tried various meals from the menu during our visits there and all have been excellent value for money and delicious. I did notice that the prices have risen slightly but feel that this is as a result of price rises in general. I would certainly recommend this place.

Great evening, lovely food... just failed to get any black pepper on my starter, maybe you could put small grinders on the tables? Otherwise all good!

The service was excellent by reception, bar and serving staff. The food came without too much wait and was good. There was a choice of gluten free dishes

Really good food ,service is very good but very busy lots of parties. Only thing that let it down was where we were seated right on the main walk way so had people bumping in to me all the time.

Food was brilliant as was the service only thing wrong was i asked for ive cream with my dessert and they poured cream over then added ice cream

Absolutely fantastic food. There was a group of us from work celebrating a birthday, we pre booked our food the day before and when we arrived we were greeted with a friendly face and shown to our table. Our food cane out within minutes of us arriving, and for £4.95 per head was excellent value for money. We all had a full portion and were very happy with our me choices. We will definitely be back again.

Good value three course meal, lasagne 50/50, desserts were a bit weak, fudge cake, cheesecake and banoffee pie was a bit processed and service a little slow. (Waited for bill a while)

The food was delicious,however other dinners with no respect for other guests ,through the lack of control of their children , spoiled the evening not only for ourselves but for other customers who asked to move tables .

we had a very pleasant and lovely lunch it was great value for money together with excellent customer service. Will be returning and would definately recommend it.

If I hadn't been there before I probably wouldn't be going back. We were sat in a corner table up against a wall so you only had one way in and out to your seat with the table next to us so close the people sat there had to leave there seats to let my son out to the toilet then again on his return which wasn't very comfortable for any of us especially if they were in the middle of eating there meal. The starters were excellent but the mains were poor my son had a steak dish which wasn't the best of steaks and I had Halibut that didn't seem the freshest of fish, Not poor enough to send back but not the best either and neither dishes were cheap at £22+ each The staff were different than I'd seen before they were okay but not quite the best I ordered a bottle of wine then had to ask where it had got to. I was disappointed as it is usually very good.

Brilliant food and brilliant service, definitely return in the future. Very polite and fast service! Staff always there if you need them and always smiling
