Just north of Wigan’s town centre, on the way up to Marylebone, is an outpost of Italian culinary culture tended to by Papa Luigi. His namesake restaurant is housed in Andrew House, a handsome brick building with a spacious interior, and once seated you’ll find that the hospitality is first-rate and the food fantastic. Stop in to Papa Luigi’s and choose from the authentic dishes on offer from the a la carte menu and indulge in unbeatable Italian cuisine You can nip in simply for a pizza – we recommend the pizza mafioso for a real Neapolitan ‘hit’ – or go the full monty from starters through to dessert. This Wigan Road Italian restaurant can get busy at peak times so be sure to book ahead.
