Paradise Garden

Staff lovely and accommodating, we took our 3 year old who intended to eat from our food but they made extra effort for him to have a proper plate and didn't feel like he had his own food etc. And the food was very tasty and served timely, didn't feel rushed. Great sea views too. Will be back.

Fantastic- been many times and never disappointed. Best hot and sour soup in the north east. Staff excellent and very accommodating. Never changed in 25years. 5 star restaurant.

The starters were a little small between the 4 of us especially the ribs however they were very tasty. The main courses were awesome more than we could eat. Very good food highly recommended.

Excellent service and meal as always. Highly recommended. They have been open for 32 years and we have been going for probably 25 years and in all that time the food has been superb.

Always a good dining experience. The staff are pleasant and helpful. We chose additional dishes and they were happy to serve them along with our main courses.

The food was good but the atmosphere was a bit weird. The place itself looked like it could do with a little updating. It looked like they had over booked as we had about a half hour wait for our table. No complaints made as it was new year so we expected it to be busy and the quality of the food more than made up for the wait.

Great service fast food 100% recomend potions a good size and price was fine waited 5 minutes for our table but had a drink in bar and was shown straight away

Beautiful food, great service, but only problem is the bottled drinks, my cocacola came from a 2 litre bottle and was not fizzy, also it was warm as it wasnt in the fridge.

Love this place it's all excellent service and food is amazing never had a bad meal here yet will keep coming back to this place

The food and service were excellent. The restaurant has a truly authentic oriental atmosphere. Well worth a return visit. Value for money. The evening was enjoyed by all.

It was a nice night but wasn't an awful lot to eat on the menu for three people couples and menus for four look a lot better portion wise. Not sure if we would go again.

It's been a while since we ate at Paradise Gardens but well worth every penny.The food was outstanding and the staff gave an excellent service.Well done to everyone.

We were disappointed out favourite dish fillet of steak in sechuan sauce has changed. Tasted nothing like it used to. Sauce was awful. Everything else lovely. But we can't believe they would change the sauce on such a winning dish.

I have been going here for years and always had a good meal. The food is very good and the staff are very nice and make you feel welcome, the set banquet is always a good choice.

Food perfectly cooked, interesting choices, and served in a timely manner. Decor is a little dated and drab but certainly worth additional visits in the future.

The staff are always welcoming and friendly and the food delicious. Also very reasonably priced. We had a 3 course meal with extra sides and drinks and it came to £48 which was an absolute bargain

The food is exquisite, the service is second to non and the prices are extremely fair. I love this this place. They bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy your evening. We have been going here for 30 plus years now and will continue, cannot recommend it enough. !!!

Slightly old fashioned decor but the service and food were excellent. One of our favourite places to eat in Sunderland.A good selection of drinks also.

Loved this place over the years but beginning to look a little tired and its approach a little old fashioned. Still very much worth a visit though and the staff are very polite.

A really friendly restaurant with very helpful staff with excellent food. My family have been coming to this restaurant for years and never yet had anything but a pleasant experience each time. This is the first time I have used this booking system and have found no fault with it so will be using it again next time to book in to the Paradise Gardens Restaurant in the future. Very pleased.

Reservation on line easy to use. Seated on time; friendly, helpful staff. Good selection of dishes in set meal, including ones we had not tried before all served hot.
