Best Indian I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot. I now live abroad but every time I visit Liverpool I make time to come here. Superb.

Busy but we were well looked after as usual , good food , nice atmosphere

I booked a table for 4. We arrived on time and despite there being several large tables we were placed in a dark corner of the restaurant. We were told they were very busy hence the reason for being offered such a table. As the evening progressed it turns out they weren't that busy after all, as the larger tables weren't used at all. Not in the time we were at the restaurant anyway. Poor considering the times we have been using the place.

The restaurant was completely packed - as was the take away area - but the staff were still efficient and friendly and the food was very good

We dine here two or three times per year and are never disappointed. The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful with food choices. The only criticism I would have is that for us the portions are rather too large!

Excellent food. Disappointed with the slow service for drinks. Had to ask 3 times where our drinks were. It was Valentine's day and all the girls were given roses. Being a gay couple we were not offered a rose either which shows their attitudes towards people's sexuality.

Thought they tried to rush us out after we had eaten our main meal. Didn't ask if we wanted a sweet or coffee.Just cleared the table,brought us the warm towelette and then presented us with the bill.
