On Moor Street right in the heart of Ormskirk, Passage to India offers locals the chance to taste the flavours of the Indian subcontinent without ever having to leave their comfort zone. For over twenty five years, the restaurant has been bringing smiles to the hungry people of Ormskirk thanks to their excellent customer service, delicious and fresh Indian specialities, and of course, their sleek dining area. The town centre restaurant’s tandoori dishes are particularly good – try the cod fish tikka or the king prawn shashlik if you enjoy a good plate of seafood. Chef’s specials at Passage to India include dishes like the chicken passanda nawabi, lamb joypuri and king prawn makhani. The restaurant does South Indian dishes too, as well as English specialities for picky diners. Reserve your table ahead of time for an authentic Indian feast.

Get a table before they're gone
Group of 5 and all of us liked the starters but no one liked the mains.....i get lamb madras everywhere I go but this was more like a phaal
Food was nice and quickly served although because a little busy we weren’t offered any desert just had the bill put on our table when they started clearing our mains away, I have ate here a few times and the earlier times I have been I would say we’re better than my last visit but would go again .
Very good food, great service, we hit a very busy time but still served reasonably quickly by efficient and friendly staff.
