Pink Elephant Restaurant - Meltham

It was a very pleasant experience. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. There were quite a few people in the restaurant which also made it a pleasant atmosphere. The drinks are reasonably priced an draught Cobra is always good. The menu has a really good selection of different dishes. The starters are great and the sharing platter for two is excellent, especially when only one is having it. The mains dishes are have great variety and taste great. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Service was slow to start but got quicker as we got past the starters. The waitress didn’t speak much. At one point she put a wine glass on our table but we’re not sure why. Meals were nice and portion size good.

The food was fantastic really tasty and very helpful friendly staff who recommended the best curry we have tried in the past 5 years! Brilliant experience! Will definitely be back.

Really nice service as always, good quality food, would recommend Thali night. To say there were 8 of us the wait wasn’t long, nice atmosphere and nice beer!

Staff gave us good advice, excellent food and great service (we were in a rush). All for a sensible price. Definitely would recommend. It was a Saturday evening 6pm.

Food was lovely but unfortunately there was a really large party in at the same time so service very slow. We were in the restaurant for 2 and a half hours ☹️

It was very nice and there was free parking at the time I went (7pm) across from the restaurant. I asked for my meals to be prepared for my vegan diet which they were happy to do and it was delicious.

Excellent food and service at a great price! Would recommend this restaurant - wide mix of people and groups around us enjoying their evening out! Will go again.

Great meal and good service as always. Staff are happy to swap ingredients and make changes to suit preferences which is a real plus. Will be back soon!

We were not welcomed on entering, booked but had to wait a while, the food was mediocre, first visit probably won’t go again, shame it’s local

Excellent food and service. Member of our party has very specific dietary requirements which where dealt with with no issues. All dishes good with wide range of options for vegitarians too.

The Pink Elephant has an extensive menu with all the old favourites as well as a selection of less common dishes. The food and staff are delightful.

Excellent food and an extensive menu. One waiter particularly helpful guiding choice of dishes. Service a little let down by younger waiters having to be reminded, more than once, eg for popadums ordered with drinks, a side dish and the bill.

Good, friendly service. Didn’t rush us, asked us when we would like our mains serving after starters, which gave us plenty of time to pause. Great tasting food, as always.

Very good meal. There was a great atmosphere with friendly staff and very clean. Was there to celebrate a birthday and will definitely go again. Nice extra touches of warm hand cleaning wrap and small chocolates with the bill.

We had an excellent meal.the staff were brilliant and very attentive.Great atmosphere.All the food from the poppadums starters and mains was freshly prepared and also the added bonus of bringing your own drinks.We would definately be going back again.

The staff were lovely and the restaurant was well laid out. Service was prompt and we didnt have to wait long for our food. We have had larger portion sizes from other places but the dishes were delicious

Another great meal at the Pink Elephant the food was excellent and staff fast and friendly and very knowledgeable. Having tried many Indian restraints in and around Huddersfield this is most definitely our favourite.
