The owner, Leonardo (italian), was one of the nicest people we've ever met! As the chef was ill he explained that the food might be slow to come as he was taking over for the night. Amazing sushi, cool art and friendly vibe. He brings a bit of that happy authentic italian style and pleasantry and combines it with Japanese along with a pop art styled room. Awesome!

Great sushi in a cute little place. Owner is a nice and interesting Italian guy. The place is also a tiny modern gallery. But the sushi! The sushi! Exquisite.

Pop Art Sushi just keeps getting better and better. On Valentine's Day the atmosphere was relaxed and delightful despite the restaurant being almost constantly full. Diners engaged with the art, the music and the sushi in a way unique in this part of London. With the outdoor terrace about to have the construction work completed, Spring and Summer loom promisingly for this jewel of an eatery in St George's Wharf.

Although not mind-blowing, the sushi is nevertheless very good and well presented. The personnel are all very friendly and inviting, and the decor is quite unexpected and fun for a sushi restaurant.

Great food and the ingredients and presentation are top notch. Hard to find the restaurant. Service was a bit slow. I'll definitely be back again in the future.

This venue goes from strength to strength: a new menu with the old favourites still in place, the decor tidied up, new art on the walls and a buzz of excitement as new arrivals reach their exciting destination. For sushi, pop art, or both, there's nowhere else quite as wonderful.

I loved everything about my visit to Pop Art Sushi. The restaurant is so cute, cosy and decorated with art. The staff were lovely. We enjoyed the sushi so much we ordered more when we were done. I definitely recommend this place and plan on coming back.

Very high quality sushi, and artsy as it says, although needs improvement on the wine menu. How about saki? :) However will definitely go again

Just 1 minute walk from Vauxhall Station, Pop Art Sushi is the new kid on the block of local eateries. Not only does it serve top quality sushi, it also serves as an art gallery, featuring a range of contemporary international names like Willow, Warhol and Lodola. The Nobu-trained chef offers a range of intriguing specialities while the mainstream sushi and sashimi deliver the necessary succulence and freshness. Expect a warm welcome from the Italian owner, a joyous feast and an arty ambience. Unmissable!

We were excited to try this new Sushi spot on our Groupon voucher. It was a bit tricky finding the place, as it's part of a large complex that is currently under construction. Before placing our order, we told the server we would be using this voucher, and she told us she wanted to double check on the details of the Groupon arrangement. But then... ...as she was doing that, a large group of people (10-12) entered the restaurant to order take out. Because it seemed as though she wanted to avoid dealing with our voucher, she took orders from and served the entire group BEFORE taking our order. We waited at our table for a full 45 minutes before receiving even a cup of tea, let alone anything to eat. We would have left if we hadn't already, in fact, paid for our meal. Once the large group left, both the server and her colleague and their manager, who arrived later on, were very polite with us, and the food was fine, though not amazing, and certainly not worth the prices they were charging. Overall, I had the impression that the servers had not been trained well in their jobs, and lacked the instinct to know how to handle situations with their customers. We should not have been treated as 'lesser' customers, simply because we were using vouchers, and they should have served us before the large group that arrived after we did. The atmosphere is quirky and fun (Lichtenstein-esque pop art), but I think they need to work on their customer service, and come up with a more original sushi menu, if they're going to market themselves in that way.
