Quarter Lounge

Very easy to book a table through quandoo & I got confirmation from the venue very quickly. The service was really good & staff were attentive. The food was gorgeous & cocktails were fantastic! Would definitely recommend & will be back!

Food was good but they said they hadn't updated reservations on their systems, so we had to eat at a counter. Also, they didn't bring the starter I ordered - they said my sons starter was to share, even though it was a completely different dish.

The restaurant was very nice, the staff were welcoming and friendly. They gave us enough time to decide what we wanted before asking us to order. The price wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Very nice will definitely be returning.

Great place to eat with vibrant atmosphere. Not able to book for Saturday's but staff managed to get us in. Service good and bar staff friendly.

Nice food, lovely cocktails and good staff attentive but not over the top. Pleasant surroundings and décor, not too crowded and we liked the wall art with the words relating to Carlisle.

The food is great especially the sweet potato fries. The staff are friendly and efficient. Nice courtyard location. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

The visit was for a family lunch for my grandaughter, celebrating her 18th birthday, without her mum - my daughter - who had recently died. The food was nice, good-sized portions, the coffee was great and the staff helpful, but none really bothered about the occasion - even though a couple of the staff had known my daughter.. Coffee could have been 'topped up' as the cups are on the small side. Wheelchair access was disgraceful. Heavy furniture had to be moved before I could even get in, and an accessible loo may be handy - though unhygienic - to keep high chairs in, but renders it unusable for those of us it is intended for; it says that the staff don't think we matter. I was obliged to drive to Sainsbury's to use their lavatory. I am so disgusted I will not be returning.. Lady Norris

it was a good meal, we were not waiting long, it was very easy to book, I booked quarter lounge as we normally go to the thin white duke but couldn't get an answer off them, thought id try this place. it was reasonably priced, food was delicious and I will use the quarter lounge again.

Nice food, great beer. Cheap as chips. Staff where nice and polite. Restaurant was clean toilets was very clean overall a nice place to go

Good atmosphere, good food and drink. Menu choice is limited on the food side but the burgers we had were very nice. Service was prompt and professional.

Had the philly cheese steak sub. Was a nice change from the usual burger. So tasty. Not sure if they have changed the fries but they were really nice. Looking forward to our next visit

Instead of going for the usual burger,I tried the philly cheese steak sub. So glad I did it was mouthwatering. Quiet time of day so was lovely and relaxing. Not a large choice on the menu,but always tasty food.

Brilliant, friendly service with a great atmosphere. Great choice of food. Something for everyone. Reasonably priced, large cocktails. A great place for casual dining or a drink with friends in the comfortable bar area.

Friendly staff, good selection of food (My mam is a vegetarian and lots to choose from) and lovely cocktails. In a central but quite location close to shops. Would highly recommend a visit.

Once again we decided to go to the Quarter lounge again we were not disappointed, great service, great burgers and fries, especially recommend the fahita fries and the sweet potato fries, great service and great atomosphere.

We decided to book at the Quarter lounge for a meal that everyone who was with us would enjoy, it was a family get together with ages ranging from 18 to 73 and when asked about what everone would like it was agreed a qaulity burger was the way to go, nobody was dissapointed, infact my mother said it was the best burger she had ever had and great value now that coming from a 73 year old yorkshire woman is one recommendation to be taken seriously.

This was the first time we had been to the Quarter lounge, we both really enjoyed the Burgers, i had the sloppy Joe which was delicious, the service was great also a very nice place in a quiet courtyard in Carlisle town centre. To finish the meal we retired to the bar and enjoyed a lovely cocktail.

Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere, very attentive staff. The food was absolutely excellent as usual. We will definitely be back time and time again
