Excellent food and service from friendly and efficient Staff. The menu was not over-complicated, yet provided a sufficient and comprehensive choice. The presentation of the food was done with care and very attractive.

I am Italian and hold the plenty of supposeldy "Italian Restaurants" (chain-owned, Scottish-run, Sri Lankan-cooked) in very low esteem. When "linguine" is indicated on the menu as "linguini", I leave. Therefore, I was delighted to find the true thing in the heart of Troon. Excellent (if slightly economical with quantities) seafood and fish-based dishes, efficient and very pleasant service by the young Scottish waiteres and very reasonable prices. Definitely recommended. I have rated the noise levels as "pleasant" as an encouragement, because the omnipresent scurge of restaurants (piped music) was kept at low level. Still, why not doing away with it altogether and leave people in peace?

Good atmosphere and food, staff pleasant, however service very slow and restaurant not that busy. Would give it another visit though and hopefully the service issue will have improved.
