Located on Stoneham Street, Ranfield’s Brasserie in Coggeshall brings sophisticated, creative and exceptional brasserie cuisine to this part of Essex. Quality is of the utmost importance here and the menus are all seasonal and locally sourced produce is at the heart of each dish. Influenced by British, French and European cuisines, the a la carte menu is brimming with unique dishes including old spot pork belly served with apple and yuzu puree; roasted Albury duck breast with confit potatoes, roasted asparagus and wild mushrooms and veal schnitzel served with spätzle, gorgonzola and bacon – with plenty more besides, of course. Only a short way from Colchester, Ranfield’s Brasserie in Coggeshall is not to be missed. Reservations are essential.

Get a table before they're gone
One of my favourite restaurants that over the years has never failed to impress. Love the food and the atmosphere.
Overall an enjoyable meal and experience. The two waitresses were very efficient and friendly. Food was good. My only comment to the chef is that the Soft shell crab main dish would be better if Thai prawn crackers were in a separate bowl as in my dish they were rather soggy from noodle juices.
We requested a secluded table and explained that we would need space for our paper work. All happened! Our food was totally delicious and rather unusual, all clean plates on our table, always a great sign! Will be back. Thank you!
