Redruth Meadery is famous in Cornwall for being the only place to enjoy proper British food in a Medieval-style eating hall. The hall, to be found on Clinton Road in the centre of Redruth, is adorned with drapes, shields and lances, it’s candle-lit and the waiting staff even wear period costume. You’ve then got the food, fit for all the family, locally-sourced and always fresh, it’s what British eating is all about. Be sure to try Redruth Meadery’s famous chicken, served whole on a wooden platter to be torn apart with your fingers – the true Medieval way. You don’t have to be in costume yourself so reserve a table now. You’ll not regret it.
Excellent, friendly and quick service in a warm, inviting and cozy environment. Loved it 😊 and would highly recommend The Redruth Meadery for a good night out.
Quality was very good - felt portions are bit smaller than used to be. Premises have had facelift which is great & very clean and tidy - all in all it was enjoyable experience.
Lovely food. Big portions. Value for money. Food was piping hot! Not like some places where it comes out luke warm. Nice surroundings. Waitress was polite but could perhaps do with a little bit of training on how to be attentive to customers (this would have made it a 6). Well done Redruth Meadery!
