When people think of going out for dinner, they don’t often think of Persian food. With places like Reza Restaurant in Newcastle, however, they absolutely should. This charming place on Westgate Road – right in the city centre and not far at all from Newcastle Central station – serves Persian (or Iranian) food according to tradition, meaning the dishes make big and delicious use of plenty of vegetables and lean fish and meat, as well exotic herbs and spices. You’ll find mains in the way of kebabs, plenty of hearty stews and mixed rice dishes to please. Persian food is a delight, and Newcastle’s Reza Restaurant does it just right. Reserve a table now.
excellent food, the best felafel so far. very kind service and nice atmosphere. I would have tried other food but after one starter and one main I was full. I will come back again.
Beautiful food and great, friendly service. Also extremely good value for money. The meat was cooked to perfection and the rice and sides were gorgeous.
Good food for the price, however bad service unfortunately. And not very organised. We paid double for certain side dishes, we ordered with main however we received with starter so had to order again
