Really loved this restaurant- thank you for the lovely food, fantastic staff made everyone enjoy their evening, would highly recommend
We had a fantastic relaxing time at Rhythm Kitchen, the staff were very friendly and helpful, service was excellent and fast, cocktails and food were delicious, definitely worth the money, overall an excellent evening

It was a lovely afternoon Food was good and staffs were great. Will visit again
Location is a little off the beaten track from the Centre of Walthamstow and you'll need to pay for parking if you want to come during the day. But once you arrive you should have very little to complain about as the decor is homely and brightens up the space. I particularly enjoyed the pictures of iconic figures such as Jesse Jackson and Bob Marley. The food is what you're here for though and unless you want Brown Stew Fish and /lots/ of hard food (like one member of my party did) you should be alright. However, don't be fooled into thinking you will get amazing value for money. Caribbean food is time consuming to make and uses a lot of ingredients - so the prices reflect that. In fact, the £29ish set menu is very fairly priced as going al a carte over three courses is about £30 per person anyway + drinks. Food seems to be made to order too, so expect a bit of a wait time of about 25-30 minutes, but I assure you the wait is worth it. This then gives you plenty of time to take a look over the extensive drinks menu which boats over 70 rums, fresh fruit juices, homemade lemonades, various tea's and beers from back home. If you're into cocktails Rhythm Kitchen does that too so there's something for everyone. Overall, very enjoyable and worth your time. It gets a recommend from me if it's within your budget.
Waitress put a dampener on the evening as we were asked to keep the noise down, at some stage, but we was not making any noise. Just a normal conversation, as we had my uncle Aunt and great Aunt who are all in their 80’s... and we’re having a modest conversation when suddenly the waitress advised us that someone had asked us to keep the noise down, which was rather bizarre! The waitress obviously witnessed that we were not load in any way, so feel she should have passed this back, if in deed anyone had really asked her that...All very strange, and made my Aunty very uncomfortable after that, and ruined their Anniversary evening! For this reason we would not be returning.. Shame really as the food was great!
Good drinks although could have had a tad more rum in the standard cocktails. Quality of food was great, my only negative would be that the 1/4 chicken jerk was a bit on the small side. The jerk gravy and prawn starter was amazing. The food took a little while to come out but it was a busy Saturday night and we did delay ordering by 30 mins to allow a friend to join. Overall would defos recommend a trip if you like Carribbean food and rum cocktails.
Food good service ok. My only niggle is that in this cold weather the entrance and the layout of the restaurant does no favours for dinners anytime the door is opened. They may want to think about some sort of breaker at the door to prevent dinner from getting a blast of cold air everytume the door was opened.
We came for a double birthday celebration and the food was lovely and the atmosphere great. Will definately be back. Ordered takeaway for my Partner and he enjoy it . Only thing and not really a negative but thought the takeaway price would have been cheaper but it was worth every penny.
Brilliant time for birthday lunchtime celebration for a group of 4. Everyone loved the delicious food, cocktails and great background music. I will be back for their happy hour which includes my favourite Mango daiquiri.
