The team were incredibly accommodating for our Christmas lunch even when the numbers changed many times leading up to the day. The food was well-prepared and of good value as always.

It was awful. The service was good but the food was disappointing. My husband had rice which was soggy and the smallest portion of beans. Turkey was rubbery and gravy tasteless chips undercooked. My Meal was okay but we will not be returning

Very small menu and a few items had run out. Not enough space for all the tiny seats so we had to sit in a row. The starters were lovely but the main course very disappointing. It felt expensive for the experience we had.

The food was good. I had a prawn and fish skewer with plantain and jerk sauce which was great. I do think the surroundings should be better for the prices. The lighting was too bright! Otherwise we enjoyed it.

This was our first time at Richards Kitchen and definitely won't be the last. From the warm welcome from Richard and his team, to the intimate atmosphere of this small friendly restaurant and sublime food we could not fault a thing. The menu changes daily and has a good variety for all palettes. We had the belly pork and it was incredible! What sets this restaurant apart from others is the personal interactions with Richard and his team, nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to make your visit special. It was my fathers birthday on the day we visited and Richard made a special effort with his dessert, even making a portion of apple crumble and custard for my mum when it wasn't on the menu, just because she craved it! That is a restaurant that knows how to make customers feel special without being over the top. Could not recommend highly enough.

Lunch was delicious and service was excellent, as it always is at Richard's Kitchen. It was nice to see the place full of people, but it did mean the noise levels got loud every now and again. This didn't affect the enjoyment of the food!
