Lovely place, great servers and beautiful decor. Loved it! Food was yummy.

The staff are working so hard to keep the restaurant safe and still operating, very professional and pleasant too. The food was very good, huge portions, tasty, had to take some away with us! Unfortunately it was the biggest storm of the year and we were in the draughty area of the restaurant, would have preferred the other side to be honest. Also don't like a big screen TV on in a restaurant while I'm trying to enjoy a nice meal but that might just be me.

Staff were lovely, helpful and obliging but the meal not so satisfying. Calamari starter was very, very salty. I then had the lasagne which had barely any meat in it, small portion and had been microwaved to it's death! Burnt all around the edges and a very messy plate. Fried sweet potatoes were also very overdone. Then cocktails which were below average. I'm afraid I would not recommend Riva.

The starters were delicious. Prawns and leeks in white wine for me and scallops with bacon for my wife. Generous portions but correspondingly pricey!

The atmosphere was excellent & the staff were very friendly. We had one issue in that the Chicken Wings starter was undercooked, but this was dealt with very professionally.

Absolutely love Riva. Recently moved to the area and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The food is great and bonus, dogs are also allowed.

I booked the table on behalf of my mother, who was coming in with my father and friend. she requested the lunch time menu and was advised that there was no lunch menu and would have to choose from the al a carte. this adding an extreme amount to the bill. Given that they are pensioners this came as quite a shock.

Service and atmosphere were excellent, pizze were tasteless, dough should be more crusty. Salsiccia wasn’t good.

Very warm welcome and cosy atmosphere. Waiter happy to chat with us about the menu. good service. GREAT food! A very nice touch having lemoncello to end the meal..on the house! How often does that happen these days?! Very good value for money and would highly recommend Riva to anyone...Sugar boat is not on a par with this lovely Italian restaurant!! Well done guys..we will be back!

Good visit to Riva. Food was nice and good atmosphere. Starter and main was really good. Desert was a bit disappointing for what you got.

Attentive staff great food, was a wee tad noisy for a bit due to “happy” dinners close buy. But did it did not detract from the experience.

First visit to Riva but will definitely be back. There was 3 of us all with different tastes including 1 vegetarian The service was excellent and the decor is lovely. We had pizza and calzone all which were very good. Especially liked that the dough was very fluffy and light. Would definitely recommend a visit!

This was a really lovely meal start to finish. All 4 of us rated the food, drink, service & cost highly.... and we are fussy gits. Could not fault it. Keep up the great work Maverick, Mario and the team. We will be back for sure.

Wow what a find. First time visit but will have many more. Superb food - medium rare ribeye, perfectly cooked melted in mouth - Ab Fab spaghetti carbonara with a smoky flavour - bruschetta perfectly seasoned - all that and attentive and friendly staff. This perfect evening was rounded off by live music from Paul Michael. Highly recommend.
