Best carvery around. Always an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to next visit

The food was grim, there was mould on the walls and blinds in the conservatory area and the staff lacked the basic skills required in customer service. Will not be returning.

Nice carvery but had better there The carver was a bit tight with the meat and the roast potatoes where awful....they had obviously sat there too long and were pre frozen rubbish The rest of the carvery was nice with scrummy gravy

Went at 12 noon for an early carvery lunch so it was fairly quiet. The dining area has a modern, light and airy feel. The staff were friendly, particularly the female chef who carved the meats. The carvery was excellent with a choice of 4 meats and a wide array of vegetables. Couldn’t fault it!

The Carvery is first rate. Excellent meat and good portion size. The choice of accompaniments is extensive and high quality. We sat in the conservatory which is comfortable and airy.

Food and service excellent as normal. Have been lots of time although I have to travel for 45 minutes each way to get there but it is worth it

I bring a group of elderly people and they love coming to royle oak to eat as cavery they can eat small amounts which suits there appetite

the food is top notch. other tables received attentive customer care but not our table, it may be that they were regulars. well worth the visit just for the food quality.

Meat at the carvery was excellent but the vegetables were a little dried up due to the low numbers using this facility tonight. Will return at some point.

Absolutely excellent, from the warm welcome, through the huge selection on the carvery to the beautiful deserts. It was fantastic - can’t wait to go again.

Booked a table and had to change our booking time 20 mins before, all done with no fuss which was great. We booked the last time for the carvery but the meat & veg were still fresh and staff were happy to bring more of anything that had run out. Generous portion of meat & help yourself to vegetables all very tasty! Helpful friendly staff and bright pleasant surroundings. Would recommend and will be returning.

The carvery was lovely, a huge range of vegetables. I would have given a 6 rating, but we waited ages for our Drinks order on a Hot day!

Good food from the carvery. My daughter had to wait so long for her vegetarian gravy that she'd eaten half of her dry veg. Why not have a small pot of veggie gravy next to the meat gravy?

Decent Choice of Vegetables but looked like they had been standing a while; had to wait ten minutes for someone to acknowledge that we needed plates to start carvery. Not Busy yet lack of communication between Kitchen and serving staff made the atmosphere a little awkward.

We were shown to our table immediately (pre booked). The buffet choice was excellent. Service for drinks was a little slow but not unacceptable. Would recommend.

The carvery was good but the deserts were not very good value for money my husband had profiteroles @ £4.95 he had five small profiteroles working out a £1.00 a profiterole
