Very disappointed. Starters were ok. Salmon and cod overcooked and peas cold. Asked twice for second glass of wine but never received. Frequent visitor of this restaurant but this was the worst meal we have had there. Dont think we will be back.
Squid&crab starter delicious as was the scallops and black pudding starter. A special on the menu beef cheek was also delicious, pork fillet wrapped in Parma ham was moist along with black pudding balls, asparagus,creamed potato smokey stewed apple and a jus. The service was excellent the girls are really pleasant and helpful. Bar staff are quick and pleasant , as is Birdy the owner.
Excellent service, cozy country place with a diversified menu. My scallop and black pudding appetizer was cooked to perfection and blended two very unusual tastes expertly. Pea risotto main course was out of this world!
Excellent food and first class service. I can highly recommend Sally McNallys.
