Overall, an OK experience. Best thing was the food but the roasts could have looked more appetisingly presented. Seem to be thrown in the plate and at the price of £16.50 each it didn’t bode well. Chairs in dining room are uncomfortable and wobble. Place needs an update and generally pull in the crowd just because of location and not ambiance.

Food was tasty and came very quickly. My husband and I had a main each and dessert. Great wine selection. Very accomadating for my husband to have vanilla ice cream with his sticky toffee pudding. I had mine with the ginger ice cream it came with, subtle and delicious. Sunday evening a good time to go as not too busy therefore easy to have a conversation 🤗. Great to have a drink after at the bar to continue conversation.
Nice place and good food but charmless waitress could’ve been friendlier and not quite so abrupt
