Sannas

A while since we visited Sannas but were pleasantly surprised with our food.A touch different from the usual Italian menu but very good quality at a reasonable price.

As always, a beautiful meal. Great staff, Great atmosphere. It has been refurbished and looks fantastic. Quite busy for a Tuesday night. Lovely wine, and good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious food, well served. Just a little bit slow considering we had a young person with his. Maybe next time we will ask for something very quick to keep an 8 year old going. But, we had a love!y evening. Good wine, too.

Lovely food and excellent choice on the menu. excellent friendly service. Nice atmosphere. I have been a few times now and will definitely be returning.

Our favourite place to eat. Service is outstanding and the food just make you return again and again. Used it for 4-5years and will continue to do so. We happily travel 60 miles to get a meal at Sannas.

Lovely wee italian. Great food and excellent service. Lots of choice including early bird menu. Just of high street so easy to get to. Will definitely be back.

Lovely food in an intimate setting. Team weren't all overly informed about menu and availability. Disability access isn't great due to the nature of the building. Would eat there again.

Went there for the 1st time to celebrate my birthday & sadly will definitely not be returning. The waiter was very pushy from the moment we arrived, making us feel very rushed. When the food arrived, the side order of Mediterranean vegetables looked like it had been dropped on the floor (in fairness the waiter pointed out that it didn't look good and wouldn't be charging for it), Garlic bread tasted of nothing, lasagne had virtually no beef in it and looked like they'd just poured a jar of tomato sauce in. My chicken dish was tasty but the chicken was overcooked and thus very chewy. What started as pushy service then turned into non existent service as soon as our mains had been cleared up. We sat there for 20 minutes before someone asked us if we wanted dessert. Having declined this, we then waited another 25 minutes for the bill to turn up. Overall I was really disappointed. I'm a mature student that's lived in Carlisle for nearly 6 months and this was the 1st time I've been out to eat in all that time. Luckily I had good company otherwise it would have been a total disaster!

Very nice for an early evening meal. Staff were very helpful and we all came away quite salisfied. PArticularly liked the white chocolate semifrado-went down a treat.

I am afraid we found the upstairs table we were seated at, next to the window, rather draughty but welcomed, later on, the opportunity to move to a warmer and more comfortable table downstairs. The food and service was of a reasonably good standard except for the minestrone I ordered. It is a soup I myself make regularly and what I was served yesterday evening bore no resemblance to "the real thing". It had never crossed path with a tomato, for instance, and the pasta used was not suited to the dish. I could go on and am even tempted to supply you with a more authentic recipe, but I am sure, with a bit of effort and little additional expense, you can manage to improve on what currently is a pale imitation of what should be a rich and appetising soup..

Not good wasn't very impressed! Will not be going back here again! Staff where rude and not very professional , food was cold and not very nice

Great little place for pre-theatre dinner. Service was good, with friendly welcoming staff and the food on Happy Hour till 6.30 was a bargain at £7.50 for pasta dishes. Enjoyed it. Thank you.

We were received cheerfully and shown to a pleasant little table in a corner, which suited our anniversary celebrations perfectly. The staff was efficient - our orders were taken and delivered quickly. The food was excellent. We would fully recommend this restaurant for every aspect of its service.

Lovely meal, was very busy bit service and food remained good, been many times and will return. I had spicy chicken in sardinian bread, partner had chicken in cheese sauce with garlic mash. Yum.

Food good but service so slow, especially annoying when restaurant not busy. We were booked for 7.45pm and there were only five other people dining in the restaurant. Obviously fewer staff employed on week nights!

Beautiful restaurant. Staff very polite and helpful with questions regarding food allergies. A good night had by all and can highly recommend to others looking for Italian food.

Well impressed with service and atmosphere, food of the highest quality, will be returning soon to this restaurant . Cannot express how good this was.

Fabulous food and service. Had a three course meal and was spoilt for choice. Excellent value for money. Will be back soon. Everyone enjoyed their food.
