Lovely meal, a warm welcome and good service. Restaurant had a nice relaxed unhurried atmosphere. We would definitely go again. Thank you to all the staff.

We have been going to Shahbaaz Tandoori for more than 20 years and never been disappointed. Food is excellent and friendly staff make it first class.

Great meal. Pleasant and attentive waiters. Food was excellent and with adequate amounts. Price was also very reasonable. Good place for a family meal. Parking can be tricky.

A nice experience. Food was top quality as it always is, however service can be a bit ‘gruff’ where some staff attending our table preferred to grunt than engage with the paying customer.

We had a nice meal with friends, the food was good and drinks were ok (red wine better than white and when a glass of white asked for, no options offered, just a glass brought) service for food was great and left appropriate time between courses. Thank you for a lovely time!

As always, food was delightful and we really enjoyed it. Authentic food which is a treat for the tastebuds (my personal fave is the Balti!). Quick service without feeling rushed which was good as we had 4 kids, youngest aged 8 with us, so good not to be waiting around.

The best Indian Cuisine in Aberdeen without doubt, staff and management superb, would recommend it anyone. Been in Aberdeen for many many years which in itself is a great recommendation

I am vegan and they were very helpful in choosing the right food for me and telling me what I couldn't eat. The meal was delicious. The service was a bit slow, but I prefer to take a long time over dinner so that suited me, although others might not be so happy with it.

Not the cheapest in Aberdeen however good beer service and food made up for the hefty menu prices. We shall return again as the experience was well worth the money

Best Indian restaurant in Aberdeen. Food is always freshly prepared and served in a timely manner. This is a restaurant where quality food goes hand in hand with excellent service.

Fresh herbs make the flavour fantastic this is what makes this India resturant different. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone maybe book ahead to be on the safe side.

We enjoyed Murgh Samundri (mild chicken), King Prawn Dil Bahar (sweet and sour) and Chicken Turka (hot chicken). All delicious. Great service and an After Eight to finish.

So good that we have become accustomed to laughing off the abject indifference of the staff. £400 bill and still not a thank you in sight, which, given that we have been booking for between 10-20 seats on new year's day, every year for the past 14, remains a mystery. We don't care, though. The food is simply outstanding. The chicken Qandari is the best curry from anywhere I've ever had.

Great food and very good service! Table was ready for us when we arrived and we were seated quickly. Poppadum's arrived quickly with the drinks and menus. A very pleasant experience.

The company I was with was great, so no issue there. The whole experience was all wrong. Yes we were a bit late arriving but the look of disgust from the "welcoming committee" really set the scene for one of the worst Indian meals and restaurants I have even been to (and that has been a lot). I was told that the Shahbaaz Tandoori was one of the best in Aberdeen. Not being local to Aberdeen I took the advice and made a reservation. If this is the best that Aberdeen has to offer then, Aberdeen you are being well ripped off. The food was poor, the lamb I had was tough as old boots, the rice was cold and the sauce, if it was not for the salt and pepper I added there would have been no flavour. During the "meal" we were asked four times if we wanted more drinks. It was the third waiter who asked that actually did something about it and bring us the drinks we asked for each time. The Shahbaaz Tandoori has one unique experience. Time travel. Go to the toilet and you are immediately in the 1960's. If I am ever again in Aberdeen I shall stick with the tried and tested and Amarone will be the eating place of choice.

Great service, great menu - food was delicious. Staff were friendly. My partner had tandoori king prawns and I had a mixed vegetable Agnara curry with coconut rice which was spot on!

Been going to the Shahbaaz for many years now as it's one of my favourite restaurants. It's been the same staff there for years, service is excellent and food amazing. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Very pleasant atmosphere, professional service, starters could be better - salad on the side of the Onion Baji was not a strong point. No lime pickle with the poppadoms. Main curry was fabulous. Perswari naan was excellent. No alcohol free beer tho.
