Excellent food and service. Staff was very friendly and carefully looked after us. We will definitely go back there soon to try new food as the one we had was amazing.
First timer. Went with friends. Had to wait abit although booked a table. Food was good. May return - but only when I know that they will take care of their diners who have booked first - before attending to take out customers, who seem to have priority. Shalimar needs to separate the restaurant from the take away. Chaotic.
This was our first time here, and we'll definitely be back. The servers were really friendly and super helpful. Our drinks took a little longer than expected, but they gave us extra popadoms which was nice of them. It was slower service than a lot of places - but I actually liked that as it was a more relaxed atmosphere and we weren't in and out within an hour, we had a really nice chilled couple of hours. It was my husbands birthday as well, and when they found this out they bought him free shots which he definitely enjoyed! We were sat next to a very loud group of people who were there for a birthday, and we did find that it meant we couldn't really have a conversation as we couldn't hear each other and they were a bit distracting. I would just say a little quicker service due to drinks, and we had to wait a long time to actually pay, but otherwise it was a great place and the food was lovely. We've taken a takeaway menu for our next indian at home as well! Thanks!
