Good Quality Food, long wait, understaffed, will try again though
Excellent food and good value for money would recommend visiting
This was our third time at Spice King and regrettably our last. The food has been very good on each occasion, which is why we’ve come back several times in the hope that the service will eventually match it. Unfortunately, the restaurant is either perpetually understaffed or they care more about their takeaway service than their restaurant customers. In fact, our waiter apologised half way through taking our order to answer a take away telephone call. Our poppadums arrived promptly but we waited for an hour for our main course an drink had to ask twice for some water. The restaurant ambience could also be improved from the stark white walls, plastic fish in a tank and assorted electrical appliances scattered around the floor. We may try the takeaway but sadly will not be visiting the restaurant again.

Don’t let the size or location of the restaurant set expectations. The food was beautiful. Fantastic flavours, spices and the quality of each dish was excellent.
Very tasty food, reasonable prices and decent service. Ambience could be a little better with a noisy fan heater right next to the table but service was friendly. Overall a good evening.
Great value and great food. This is essentially a takeaway with tables but w great place for a get together with friends as the food is good and it’s also BYO
