Great time food was excellent and the staff very courteous and efficient making the whole experience a wonderful evening the menu was a treat to choose from with a really good selection of different meals

A refreshing change in the world of flecked wallpaper Indian restaurants. Welcomed with a smile and everything was smooth and efficient. We kept ourselves amused watching car after car try and get in, and then straight out again, of the minuscule car park! Large public car park very close by which is far less nerve wracking! I hope to return soon, a new favourite.

Lovely restaurant, great food and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend Spice & Stone. We did drive but it is on a good bus route too.

Lovely meal. The place was busy but the atmosphere was very warm, freindly and inviting. The food and the service was good and the price was very reasonable, with a large selection to choose from for both starters and main course on the menu. The building could do with the addition of a porch on the front, so that when someone comes in you don't loose all the warm air and get a cold draft as they do so.

Absolutely fantastic food! Made to feel so welcome and can’t recommend highly enough! Will be returning and have already recommended to friends. We loved it!

The restaurant was very busy but we had good service and excellent food!! We booked online and it was easy and fast. We would recommend anyone liking great Indian cuisine to try this restaurant.

Quite good. The food was ok but not exceptional. As last time we went service was erratic. Last time it took 1.5 hours to serve us and we were a precooked preordered group, this time just 2 of us. My son ordered lamb jalfrezi. We got chicken jalfrezi I don’t often go to Spice and Stone tho it is our local as quality of food too is erratic

Beat Indian food we have ever had and the service is impeccable. The whole atmosphere was spot on and we would love to go again soon!

The restaurant was buzzing when we arrived. The feel of the place was contemporary and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. The food was delicious and very good value for money.

Nice little village restaurant, friendly staff. It gets really busy at the weekends so you need to be prepared to wait a little longer than normal, but if you do then you won't be disappointed with the food. Price is about average for a regular curry place in town but this converted village pub has a different feel to other curry houses. Booking is essential for Friday's but would defiantly recommend it.

Do not usually like a korma or tikka masala but was pleasantly suprised by the taste. Not overpowering or sickly. Perfectly cooked in my opinion.

best indian food ive had since living in Exeter. ive been here over twenty years. the whole family had agreat night.im find it hard to pick faults "keep it up" we will be back.

Very good service. Pleasant atmosphere. Third visit this year and will go again. Means a taxi to get there if you want a drink but worth it. Foods not bad either.

Great food and a lovely ambiance. Staff were attentive and helpful, even asking us if we wanted a break between our starter and main as we were saying we already felt a bit full! A lovely evening.
