Located on the main road running through Bridgtown from Rumer Hill and Cannock town centre in the north, Spices Cannock is a seductively appointed Indian restaurant that’s perfect for an intimate rendezvous over glorious food and fine wine. Spices has had its home on Walsall Road for over a decade, and over the years the chef’s have compiled an encyclopaedic offering of traditional South Asian dishes and contemporary interpretations of the classics that together form the backbone of this modern Indian restaurant’s remit. Those fans of Indian food with jaded palates looking for something new are advised to order from the list of dishes that are exclusive to Spices. The burhani haash, for instance, deep-fries a lightly spices fillet of duck which is then simmered in a spicy sauce with garlic, coriander and lemongrass for a dish that is evocative of India’s Southeast Asian neighbours.
Visited the restaurant and received the usual excellent friendly service. Fabulous variety of fish on the menu but always happy to customise any dish to suit. Will definitely visit again
