Very interesting choice of salads, all tasted delicious (tried all four between our party of four!). Salmon, cod and chicken also delicious, cooked perfectly. Only had room for coffee as the portions were big. Excellent service.

Lovely, friendly staff and very high quality, interesting dishes on both the vegetarian and meaty side. The wine selection was also well-considered. The restaurant is also beautifully and simply decorated. Excellent instagram fodder!

Staff were super friendly, food was consistently excellent. Didn't really know what to expect as had heard it was mainly vegetarian but there were plenty of superb meat options. Highly recommended

The food at Spinach is very good which is primarily where the 5 rating comes from and secondly from the excellent service. I do however recommend you avoid a table upstairs where you are subject to all the exhaust from the kitchen. The restaurant on Saturday was very busy, and we booked late, so we had to take what was on offer, sadly the upstairs tables are right above the kitchen and hot air rises. My other gripe is the furniture. They have recycled old wooden furniture but it's really uncomfortable and you may end up sitting on a plank of wood masquerading as a bench. So note to the restaurant, most of what you do is excellent but you really must sort out your terrible furniture.

Nice location in Dulwich, with casual "rustic" interior. Starters were interesting in flavour. Mains were generous portions and very tasty. Pork Loin in particular was tender, moist and tasty - not always the case with pork, particularly such large chunks of meat! The desserts were a real let-down. Tiramisu was large but over sweet and not very tasty. Creme Brûlée was horribly sweet and the creme was of such a rigid consistency as to be unrecognisable and I barely managed a third of it. Prices were reasonable.

I've been twice now and had a mix of good and bad each time. I love that there are lots of interesting veggie options and sharing plates. The butternut squash flan was great both times if a little heavy on the garlic. We enjoyed the fritters and goats cheese balls. However the prawns were really inedible, almost floury in texture and the accompanying sauce lacked flavour. Three of us had the chocolate pot puddings and they came out served with melted ice cream just a puddle on the plate and the chocolate pot itself wasn't even fully cooked and still had a solid and cold centre. Really want to like this restaurant but it's got a way to go entice me back again.

Perfect spot for a pre - cinema meal just opposite the Dulwich Picture House. My friend had the cauliflower dish which is apparently a house favourite which he pronounced delicious.

Second visit with a different set of friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals where the emphasis is on high quality fresh veg presented with a twist.

Food was fantastic, service great but a little lacking in atmosphere. It feels new so perhaps it's just bedding in, will definitely return for another meal.

We had excellent food and our waitress was fantastic. Highly recommend the Gobi cauliflower. We will definitely be coming back to try breakfast and lunch!

My companion had a Veg burger - which was very tasty but did fall apart a lot! I had lovely parsnip and cardigan soup - very thick. Very satisfying. I would have preferred some soft bread rather than very hard toasted - sourdough? The salad portion was on the small side. But these small gripes were made up for my great service and the food being full of flavour, and the ethos of vegetables being every bit as important as meat. And I'm not even a vegetarian! We will return.

The food is excellent: top quality and very nicely cooked and presented. Quantities are not huge but extremely tasty. Interesting but simple decor and very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Very tasty small plates. As a vege food was interesting and different. Good choice. Service excellent and very friendly staff. Prices fair but not cheap. We were very happy overall.?

Friendly staff and delicious food. Slight mix up with the food all arriving together rather than as starters and mains (friend and I were sharing everything) but didn't detract from a lovely evening. Will be back!

Very pleasant atmosphere. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great service and delicious, superbly cooked food, which is slighly different to the norm, centering on tasty vegetables.

Nice and quirky ambient, lovely food and friendly staff. We had a selection of small veggie platters to share, perfect for pre cinema (picture house is across the street!) dinner.

Lovely local restaurant with yummy food. We were sat in the upstairs section, which would also make a nice area for a private function. Will go back again soon.

Delicious food in a relaxed environment. Despite being Valentine's Day there was never a moment we felt pressured to hurry or leave. The tuna steak was particularly tasty.

Spinach is a lovely cosy place in east Dulwich, the service is very good if not a little over enthusiastic but I wouldn't complain about that and the food is excellent, cooked to perfection and simple. I had one the best chocolate pot I ever had too, a brilliant end to a lovely evening.

What a welcome addition to the local food scene. Charming staff and unusual, predominantly vegetarian food. The choices are so imaginative that this meat-eater happily went veggie. Bravo!

Fabulous food. Very different in a really good way. The service was really good and very friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant. I have dropped a point because the decor is quite stark. Speak to some local artists and get some art in the walls, that would finish the experience off nicely.

Nice setting and atmosphere. The food was really good although it was quite expensive for what you got which brought my rating down. The starters could have been served in a bit nicer way.

Good food, excellent service - haven't quite got the ambience right as kitchen doors open so who ever facing the back was blinded by the lights

Great food and it has a nice atmosphere. Service could be improved. Starter arrived before water and bread. A bit pricey but a decent date venue. Avocado fritters, glazed aubergines and gin cucumber cocktails were highlights.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere! It's bright and spacious and even when nearly full it didn't seem to get noisy like a lot of restaurants. Everything we ate (deep fried goats cheese with romesco & lettuce, gobi manchurian, lamb meatballs, seared tuna) was absolutely delicious so will definitely return for another meal sometime. The cocktails all sounded great but we were a bit disappointed with how they actually tasted so will stick to the wide selection of wine next time. A bit pricey but worth it for the food.

Lovely little plates, great asparagus with Stilton sauce. Relaxed laid back atmosphere, good wine and attentive staff. Could have been more veggie options on the main menu, as the only one had mushrooms which lots of people don't love, including me.
