Fantastic service and amazing food. Recommend the Rogan Josh and naan bread cooked to perfection. All staff very welcoming and would definitely come back here again

Excellent food, great service, they only serve soft drinks (something to do with the fact its an old church so they have no alcohol licence) their soft drinks are a bit over priced but overall a really nice place to eat and I would recommend it

The various dishes our party ordered were all excellent, tasty and well-spiced, and we reordered a jug of the mango lassi because the first disappeared once we had tasted it. Very friendly hosts with great service in a great setting.

The best Indian meal I have ever had. The staff were extremely friendly and polite and made us feel very welcome. The food tasted extremely fresh. You could tell that all the ingredients used were fresh and this reflected in the taste. This is my first visit to this restaurant, but certainly won't be my last.

Fantastic atmosphere and service ; delicious food. Real value for money. Would recommend, especially the Sultan hour which we had. One of the best curry houses I know - and I have been to several.

I arranged this for a work night out. The food was beautiful, service was very good and great atmosphere. It would be great if we could bring our own alcohol though!

A long overdue return visit to this restaurant. We weren't disappointed in any way. Glad we didn't go for starters on this occasion (besides the Papadoms of course) as the mains were very filling with the gorgeous Naan bread too. We won't leave it so long till the next visit. Thank you!

Very tasty well spiced dishes, excellent friendly service and a lovely ambience. The mango lassi is also worth ordering by the jug. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Sultan.

We really enjoyed our authentic Indian meal. The naan breads were amazing and very large you only one between two. The service was excellent too we would like to say thank you to the Sultan team. We also enjoyed the lemon sherbet drink recommend by waiter

The Sultan Of Lancaster was a great find. The building is a magnificent conversion giving a wonderful ambiance. I visited with friends prior to a show - the service food and value for money was magnificent. We all had a great time and would definitely visit again. Very highly recommended.

Excellent quality and really good service. Food served hot and plenty of it. Restaurant fairly quiet at the time we were there but signs of a very busy night ahead and also several take aways.

One of the best restaurants in town. People there are very friendly and helpful. I could make a small comment about cleanness. Everything looked ok but I did notice that the table wasn't at the highest cleanness standard but nothing really important. I would recommend it to you. Also the food was awesome. Couldn't be better in appearance and taste.

Just can't fault the staff, very attentive and genuinely cared about how our meal was going. The curry is some of the best that I have ever had!
