Tah Chang

We have just returned home after a perfect Birthday celebration meal at Tha Chang. It was our first visit and it won’t be our last. That service, atmosphere, and the meals were all excellent. We all said that it was the best Thai food we have ever had and can’t wait to return. Thank you for making my husbands Birthday special!

Great food served a little too fast. Nice restaurant. May return in a few weeks. Parking a bit awkward. Great menu, lots of choice, would be good if it had a heat indication against each item.

Authentic freshly cooked Thai food without all the added sugar etc..served by friendly attentive staff in a relaxed and comfortable setting - what’s not to like !

We were delighted with the attentive service, and the very beautiful freshly cooked and authentic Thai food with a contemporary twist. The chicken satay was delicate and refined as was the Pad Gratiem Prik Tai with garlic rice.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The place has a nice ambience, the front of house staff were attentive but not overbearing. I would visit again and definitely recommend Tah Chang.

Tah Chang is the best Thai restaurant in Harrogate. Whilst it is not cheapest it is good value given the quality of the food. It is a fine example of the the wonderful independent restaurants that Harrogate has. Crispy pork dishes are sublime, sauces rich and appropriately spicy. Service is amazing with waitresses refilling glasses with iced water continually and always taking care of us with extreme politeness. My second time there will definitely not be my last.

Beautiful food, brilliant staff & reasonably priced. Will certainly be returning here. Couldn't fault a single thing, I'd seen details for the restaurant on trip advisor initially, can't wait to return.

Very fast service, authentic Thai menu, laid back and intimate interior, great attention to detail with the ingredients and garnish, not over priced for what you get. Well worth a visit.

The food was awesome (I couldn’t stop thinking about how much I enjoyed it the following day) and the service was prompt and courteous. I would highly recommend this restaurant, my wife and I will definitely be going back!

Food was all very good, seemed authentic. Only slight downside was that the tables near to the door could be a little bit cold, but this is only a minor point.

Great place- bigger than first appears! Good food- taste, selection, promptness; the staff were polite and friendly and helpful. Would happily return back to try another dish.

Sadly this restaurant did not come up to expectations. The restaurant was cold, the menus were dirty, the food was just acceptable. The best part was the staff, who tried very hard. You had the feeling that they will not stay open much longer, maybe they do better in an evening, we went at lunch time on a Saturday.

Food and drink were very nice. Very reasonable, quite a small little gem of a place. Staff were attentative. Decor nice. Would def go again

Amazing food and the staff are really friendly. One of the meals was not what we ordered and was not as great as the other two. Also, the portions could be a little larger.

Fantastic service and amazing food! I can recommend the red curry and my husband had the belly pork. Will definitely return if we come to Harrogate again!

Fantastic service from start to finish - staff couldn't not be more helpful and chatty. Food was sensational - you could really taste the freshness of the veg. Never had a Thai like it - better than ANY high street restaurant!! Pleasantly surprised when the bill came too! Excellent work - I will be back

As always a wonderful warm, friendly greeting when we enter. (5th time). Everyone in our group loved their food choices. Great atmosphere. The place busy on a Wednesday. Always a good sign. My favourite restaurant in Harrogate.

Thai is my favourite cuisine and Tah Chang does not disappoint! The most authentic I’ve had outside Thailand! The restaurant is well furnished, relaxed and friendly.... after living in Harrogate for two years, this is already our most visited restaurant, and that’s saying quite a lot as we eat out most weeks!

Excellent But lighting could be a bit brighter. No one rushed us. Food was well prepared and service was good and polite. Would eat there again.

Very good. The staff were helpful, the food was tasty. I had crispy pork pad king, and enjoyed it. Most dishes are able to be modified depending on the meat/vegetable choice. I’d recommend it.

Great food at reasonable prices. Love be the concept of being able to have any style dish with what ever meat/fish/vegi option you want. Upstairs could do a tad more atmos. ...just need to dim the lights a bit - job done! Defo going back, need I say more.

Amazing authentic thai food, the best i have tasted outside of thailand. The atmosphere was relaxed but still had a great excitement about the restaurant, it was fantastic to see it full. I felt the service was perfect, helpful and keen to please. Didn't feel rushed at all. I will definitely be packing Tah Chang a regular spot to visit

Been to their York restaurants which are amazing. Great to see them open in harrogate. Good selection with a modern vibe. Looking forward to next meal

Very rushed experience, constantly being pestered by the waitress who nearly took our plates away twice before we'd finished. Literally as soon as we'd taken the last mouthful, the bill came and we were asked to leave because they wanted our table. As for the food, both starters were very gloopy, the sort you'd get in 'eat as much as you can' type of establishments. The mains were tasty and well presented.

Great location, wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and absolutely amazing food! One of the best Thai meals I have ever had and will certainly be returning.

The food was very tasty and freshly made to order. They catered very well for my wife's GF requirements and it was very reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

We visited for an anniversary meal. Really tasty food which was beautifully presented. The restaurant is nicely decorated, the service was good. We will most certainly return.

Lovely contemporary setting and delicious food. The staff we're helpful and attentive. I Would thorough recommend dining here. Wide menu choice and time to talk without feeling rushed.
