Very good, as usual. When we go to the Taj it always feels like a special occasion but the reasonable prices mean you don't have to wait for it to be one!

lead to our table straight away, only downside they don't have any highchairs had we know we could have brought a portable one with us and we wasn't the only people with a young child. Food is still good although I would say the portions are probably slightly smaller since the last time we went which was some time ago. Staff very attentive.

Had a great evening at the Taj celebrating my birthday. The food was excellent and the staff very efficient and friendly. We also like the fact that you can take your own wine.

Staff were attentive but service was slow - however, when the food arrived it was superb. The presentation was also very good. It's nice to have lovely linen table cloths and napkins. The extra nicesties like hot towel, slice of orange, after eight mint etc just add a really nice touch of class.

Although food was lovely the waiter was abrupt. Didn’t realise we had booked so seemed fed up. No interaction with us. Also a long wait for food.

Always a good dining experience at the Taj good food, staff really good and attentive. Best Indian food by a long way.

Lovely decor, great service and amazing food. The menu was so diverse to Indian cuisine that it was hard to choose. I'll be going back to try other dishes

Amazing staff, friendly service, food was FANTASTIC it was fresh hot and so many different flavours it did not all taste the same. So impressed and as a local we will be back!

Started with poppoduns and dips. We then had Lamb Tikka Masala, Chicken Kurma and Saag Aloo. All was so delicious! Staff were friendly and humorous too. Lovely atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Recommended.

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Waited a little while for food, but it was worth the wait. Made a nice change to enjoy a whole evening and not be rushed like some places.

I have beeen telling my family about this place from a long time food is amazing but service was not good, staff were rude and ignored us on several occasions. Wont be going back again

Always a great visit with great food and service. Lovely to meet the award winning chef after dinner too. Added bonus that you buy your own alcohol, keeps the price down.

Friendly service, clean, quick and absolutely delicious food. Only one other couple in there when we arrived but started filling up during our meal. Bring your own alcohol so bought a couple of Cobra’s from the shop opposite. They supply the glasses, etc. Others had wine, a champagne cork was popped, a really lovely evening, well, just over an hour. Thank you to all at the Taj

We had a nice meal, the food was very nice, friendly staff and was fairly quiet for us to chat.
