Have been coming here for years , food never disappoints . You can take your own alcohol too so keeps cost down considerably . Staff are helpful and polite. Already booked our Christmas night out for a couple of weeks time !

We had a lovely meal. Had to wait a while for the food, but it was worth it. Lovely food.

We had to wait 1 hour 50 mins just to get our first course.

Not as good as it normally is as it was so busy, had to ask at the bar for glasses and lemonade for my daughter. The food was not as good either, mine tasted of burnt onions and my husband balti had very little flavour. Staff were very friendly as always .

Food service slow , waited almost an hour for main & only have the table for 2 hours. Food is consistently good though & because you don’t buy ( alcoholic ) drinks it makes the bill much more reasonable

A great visit to Taj as always! We are never disappointed here... absolutely the best Indian food in this area.

Staff was friendly and nothing was too much trouble as always. The chef Abdul always comes out to greet us and has a chat with us. It’s clean, never known it any other way. Been attending for 8yrs and never been disappointed.

Been here many times and loved it but our last visit was a disappointment. Waiter put the wrong rice on a plate and instead of just getting a new one he scraped the plate from one to another. The portion sizes have shrunk significantly too.

Generally good. The Monk fish course one of us ordered was a disappointing- fish a bit over cooked and needed to be hotter and more spicy - was rather plain.

We got a lovely seat and the service was excellent as always. My meal was slightly different from what I have had in the past. A little hotter than I expected. I managed it, but was not as wowed as I used to be. My husband enjoyed his meal. The restaurant was full by the time we got our main course and the noise level was quite loud. I struggled to hear my husband sometimes. I must remember to book earlier next time. They cannot serve alcohol, so you can bring your own and they will give you glasses to use. This does make the meal more affordable.

Love the food here, everything is freshly prepared and authentic. They don't currently have an alcohol licence so you have to bring your own booze but that way it's cheaper!
