Tavernetta Italian Restaurant

First time and really enjoyed our meals.The Staff were very polite and friendly and attentive.The Foccaias are delicious and the lasagne with spinach is superb.We will visit again very soon.

In terms of the atmosphere and attentiveness of staff it was great. Some of our meal was great but others really disappointed. Had a very long wait for our main course. It’s s lovely little restaurant- just feel we hit a bit of a bad day.

What a gem of a restaurant. Fantastic food and service. Definitely will be back.

If you have never dined here before, you are in for a treat. This is a small, family-run restaurant which justly prides itself on offering wonderful Sicilian cuisine and specialities. The decor and layout is charming, the service excellent and the food is superb. Always quiet, never overcrowded (no being shoved into the corner!) and a delightful way to spend an evening. Value for money is great too. Just don’t tell everyone!

My food was cold, although they heated it up, my husbands was cold by the time he’d finished as plates were cold. Mine had very little flavour. Service was good. Staff friendly and helpful but we probably won’t re-visit

My favourite restaurant in Ipswich. A small family run Italian eatery with amazing food, brilliant atmosphere and wonderfully friendly staff. Tip the lasagne is the best I've had!

It was a friendly, warm environment with a lot of atmosphere. Great service and food, the whole family loved it. We will definitely be making it our Italian restaurant of choice from now on.

Friendly, efficient, reasonably priced and most importantly authentic. We went on a pre cinema date meal a D thoroughly enjoyed it. Polpette were fantastic... Worth a try!

Enjoyed a lovely birthday meal at Tavernetta. Fillip was most welcoming & super friendly. Constantly ensuring we were happy. You coukd tell they took pride in the food they served and so they should it was delicious. Compliments to the chef who was also very friendly. Awesome Arrincini, pizza & my favourite connolo. We booked on a Sunday Evening. It was a quiet night. Nice friendly restaurant great food, and a descent menu Will definitely go back again.
