Teapot Island is a rather unique place to eat. It’s a charming bistro and cafe set beside an exhibition of over 8400 teapots, which just so happens to be the largest exhibition in England. It’s a family-run spot that’s known to most in Yalding, and on the menu you’ll find everything from light bites like baguettes and jackets to main meals like creamy chicken pie, scampi and chips or sausage and mash. Teapot Island is also a great spot for a Sunday roast or a spot of afternoon tea, which is about as quintessentially British as it gets. Coffees and alcoholic drinks are also available, so for whatever your casual occasion might be, Teapot Island is one of our favourite options in the Yalding area.
