They were clearly short staffed and even though they gave me a menu, they didn’t bother to take my order. We left without ordering any food

Always love eating, drinking and socialising at The Alma. The staff are always great, can’t do enough to enhance your visit, the food is great and the Alma Chips are an absolute must, you can’t leave any, it’s sacrilege

lots of very energetic kids running around play area. Long waits for food although pretty good. Place in desperate need of some TLC. Came away a bit frazzled.

It's was very busy so we had a longer wait for our food. The staff kept us informed regarding the wait. Great pub restaurant for everyone.

Very welcoming. Unfortunately, restaurant was out of their vaunted pies (as well as soup). Then I was told that the normal sauce for the ribs was out of stock. Then I was told that the ribs were not fresh enough for the chef to send them out. It took over 50 minutes to get our meal in the end (and there were few other diners at this early hour) but it was very good when it did arrive. The place is friendly and the staff caring. There were honest about the situation and I felt they were looking out for my best interests and tried to make it right. I have already recommended the pub to friends and would go back myself. It's an atmospheric pub. If I didn't live 30 miles away, it would be my local

The best food, the best atmosphere and excellent staff that ‘make it’. The Alma is a quirky, friendly Gem of a pub in Windsor. They have the best pub garden in Town, and incredible Chips! ... oh and let’s not even start on their Sunday lunches; I’ll run out of superlatives to do them justice! Basically just go. You WILL love it.

Amazing service and food! Catering for gluten free is fantastic, which is hard to find in local pubs in the area. Will recommend to friends

Very good food and a good selection of Ales. Lovely outdoor area and friendly staff, although service was a little slow. Think they were short staffed today due to unforeseen circumstances though so perhaps understandable. Would recommend.

The food at The Alma was excellent and very good value for money. The pub had a great atmosphere and you could eat out in their newly refurbished beer garden. The staff were also incredibly helpful.

Super busy, not enough staff. Waited at the bar for 10 minutes to be served, then told by the lady that our table was the one covered in empty glasses & the wait for food was over an hour!!! We left before even sitting down!

In my opinion The Alma is the best pub in Windsor! The food is always amazing, the service warm and welcoming, and the pub is frequented by friendly and cheerful staff. I love the ambience and decor in the pub too, quite unique with it's collection of interesting antiquities and collectables that are also for sale. And best of all, it's a hugely dog friendly pub with a large outdoors area, so the furry kids can enjoy the experience too! PS: Try the chilli and chips, it's an experience!
